Thank you thank you for taking the time to add in the printed information with brand and pattern and comps. Such a great learning tool. And I know it’s time consuming. I appreciate it. 👍❣️
I really like the format when you just go and film in the antique mall. I appreciate all the work you do so that I can learn and have some fun along the way. Thanks Jos
With a discounted item, quick & easy way to figure price you'll pay is just to multiply the percentage you WILL pay times the price listed on item. So on that birdhouse cookie jar at 40% off of $30 asking price, you'll be paying 60% x $30 = $18 final cost. Same as trying to figure the 40% off amount ($12) and subtract from $30 = same $18 final cost. Less steps in the math! As always, love the trip around the antique mall - lots to see and learn! 🍌🍌🍌🦜🦜👍🧡
I just scored that bird house at a thrift store. They had the Mccoy covered with a giant sticker. I bought it cause I loved it. So happy when I removed the sticker! $6!!
I started collecting birds a couple of years ago. I don’t know why. I was in a thrift store, saw birds everywhere and could not stop thinking about them. Now I have them everywhere. It was angels for about 10 years or so. I kept a few and took the rest to goodwill. I needed a change I guess. They make me happy. 😄😷☀️💚🦜🦢🕊🦩💜😷😁
Calla lily as a subject for a water color in a frame that old caught my attention. So calla lily is from South Africa & first pictured in some European plant book in 1684. They really get going in the US in 20th century. Georgia O’Keeffe painted several pieces of them in the 20’s. So if the water color is anywhere near the frame age it’s a very unusual piece. It still was very pretty is the painting is a brand new.
Great finds! George with The Antique Nomad's UA-cam videos are great. So much knowledge like yourself. Between watching you and him a person can learn sooo much! Both great personalities!
Was cleaning the house and had to take a break. Thank you for taking us shopping with you!!! Beautiful treasures!!!! Looking forward to tomorrow’s video...
Oh goody it's Joce at the Antique Store...MOAR!!! ...ha ha ha... So happy to trundle along with you today. It gives me a break from The Chigg's nerve wracking cavern crawls. Have you seen him and his worming his way into tiny holes in the earth video's?! That man either has nerves of steel or has lost his last marble, and I'm not sure which?! Good to see you humming along and finding nice goodies. (Above ground!) Catch you on the next one. I am doing the 3rd floor thing again today. ...ha ha ha...
And the little brown dog, the peacock tray( which would be so pretty on my antique vanity, and I just love those majorette boots with the red tassels! You are right about the chicken, it IS great. Bird dish? Yes please! I love anything with birds! Cute frog!! Oh heck, I might as well just go ahead and say I loved it ALL!!
You need that candle holder to go with your vases. Your in my favorite kind of store and there playing one of my favorite songs. Benny and the Jets. Good shopping my dear I've got to get back to this video. It's good!
I think The Banana Box Antique t-shirts need a Toucan flying over to land on a box lol. See then even the banana boxes will have a bird on it. lol That second plate with the bird on the leaf is really beautiful. Good eye wild woman!~
I don't ask prices most of the time either, and I rarely haggle unless I really want something. Most of the time, the person at the front checking people out will not give you a better price, but one place I go, she has offered a lower price when I hesitated, and she marked it down $5 when I asked if she could go any lower (because it was $45, and I really wanted it!). That offer may be the incentive I need. Last week, the woman checking me out wouldn't even give the price marked because it was priced higher in the system. I spent five minutes trying to explain math, but she wouldn't budge. They lost a $20 sale. When I see things unmarked, I usually don't ask, except for the one place I mentioned before. They are good people and easy to deal with. :) Always a pleasure to shop there.
Uh you do know you can take it ‘up front’ and ask what the price is... they can find out for you! Plus it looked like an embroidery piece behind that one!
03:14 I just bought that box in an estate sale - cost about a buck. Indian/Kashmiri paper mache stuff. Not worth much, but I know someone who likes boxes and someone else who likes boats, so ... Merry Christmas somebody!
I love all info. Although, we can't always see the price. It would be great if you could actually say what the price is. I know that you do sometimes. I often pause and try to read it myself but alas... Thank you 😊
They are all diff sellers rented booths. So rule of thumb is, If there’s no price there’s no way to know without the place contacting the sellers. No price, no sale unfortunately!
What is going on in Pennsylvania that isn’t going on here in Wisconsin? That antique store has such cute things! Nothing like that here in Wisconsin, at least not that I’ve seen. :(
At 16:30 you entered a booth and on the left was a hurricane lamp, off white/tan with metal flours applied to it. I have one just like it and can't find any info on it. Do you have any idea about value?
How do sales operate in the mall? Do you have to tell them what booth is on sell or do they know? 18:17 everyone noticed the Police but cant believe Jocelyn skipped the owl lamp. Wow you do know George, that guy has KNOWLEDGE!!
I absolutely love and frequent this antique mall often, so I hope it’s okay I answer this. Each booth pays rent based on square footage of the booths and 2% commission of the sales each month. Each item in the seller’s booth is required to have a sticker or label with price, description, and booth number. When you check out they collect the labels as they ring you up. They have a list they reference of what booths are having sales and how much off each item in that booth. Buyer pays one price in the end but the mall keeps the labels and a detailed list of who made what sale so sellers get correct paychecks each month.
The booth I used to have at Rocky Ridge Antiques And Collectibles was tracked by computer. Basically you would just tell the personnel at the counter what your percent off is and the duration and they would plug the data into the system specific to your booth code. I'm not sure how they would handle items that were marked firm because I never bothered with that if I had a sale everything was at the percent price off.
O...M...G!!....that birdhouse cookie jar at 11:27, I would have scooped that up if I were actually shopping in person with you...;-D.....and the punch bowl set at 21:20...I was waiting for you to say it was 'Dorothy Thorpe'....was I right?..did I learn correctly??.....teeheehee............btw..LOVE the creaky floor boards.......;-)
Eye candy as far as the eye can see. Love this store, love how knowledgeable you are about so much. It is fascinating to watch and listen. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s video. So important to have someone with such a kind demeanor who is so much fun to watch! 💕 Keep up the amazing work!
Jocelyn..You do not have 'to be a Math Genious..🤣to take 40%off... The item is $40 10% off is $4 40% off is $4×$4 is $16 Subtract $16 from $40 Your price to pay is $24..😃🤣
hi Jocelyn .. why don't you take unmarked items up to the till and then decide if it is what you want to pay !?? ... I don't understand why you leave items that you really like behind !? ... is there a reason ! ... never miss a video .. thank you for taking me to places I will never see, but through your eyes I get there and yes, I am making all the oohhh, aahhh and aaawww ! noises !! LOL !
Grrrr I was just mesmerized with this shopping video and I didn’t want it to end! It’s ok 👌🏼 I’ll be waiting for tomorrow’s video! I truly love your videos especially the lives!

Thank you I love how you have added the name and the prices!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🌟 This help to learn about art 💃🏻
Thank you for putting comps on the screen that’s really helpful 🥰
next shirt should say "It has a bird on it." Also, there should be a section in your store named that. Love your content.
Great idea!
I bought a set of hand painted Japanese rice bowls at Goodwill just now for $1.57 and they're worth $38. 🥰
Love going shopping vicariously with you. Thanks for the educational part of it too. Very helpful!!
Burslem pottery is fantastic :) take a look at the pattern “forest flowers”. It’s even more beautiful in person...
I just scored that bird house at a thrift store. They had the Mccoy covered with a giant sticker. I bought it cause I loved it. So happy when I removed the sticker! $6!!
You are lucky lucky lucky. Good deal I hope you enjoy it looked beautiful.
Her videos are so relaxing. Love watching or listening to them when working at the computer
I love the sound of the creaking wood floors

Love to "shop with you" while learning so much too.
Have a great weekend.
Thanks for taking us along 😎💙
The frame on the calla lily painting is awesome!
Thanks for putting company names and EBay comps on your videos. It’s helpful to see what is valuable and I just find it interesting. 🥰
I just love those creeky floors! All the best antique shops have creeky floors! Love you shopping for those of us that can’t go ourselves.
Loving the stores choice of music! Especially at the beginning!
Great finds!
George with The Antique Nomad's UA-cam videos are great. So much knowledge like yourself. Between watching you and him a person can learn sooo much! Both great personalities!
Your videos are fun to watch and very informative. Thank you! 🇨🇦
if the picture frame with the Calla Lillys in is old is probable worth a cppl hundred alone. I loved it
Was cleaning the house and had to take a break. Thank you for taking us shopping with you!!! Beautiful treasures!!!!
Looking forward to tomorrow’s video...
That is an enormous tea kettle at 2:48. Is that a turkey roaster next to it? I guess that must be for filling bathtubs.

Love shopping along with you 😍 also like when you show us the comps. 💞
Love shopping with you, you've taught me so much.
I’m loving the gargoyle on the floor that appeared quickly with his back to us
That Fortnum and Mason basket was amazing!
I absolutely adore that little dachshund figurine that was near the bud vase you picked up!
Those etchings are of griffins - mythological creatures lion & eagles.
Same...I've been finding good things in antiques shops AS CHEAP OR CHEAPER than thrift stores.
The hippo pair with the mom and baby along with the adorable dog with a sad face, definitely caught my attention wish you would have grabbed them.
The dog had incredible sad eyes!
Loved the shopping and info on pieces you picked up! Great learning new things! Thank you for another awesome video!
Memory Lane Antiques in Hagerstown would be a nice place to film. You could stop in on the way at Greencastle PA Goodwill. That's a decent Goodwill!
Great shop along. Really enjoy the comps as you go.
You need that candle holder to go with your vases. Your in my favorite kind of store and there playing one of my favorite songs. Benny and the Jets. Good shopping my dear I've got to get back to this video. It's good!
24:47 I swear I just bought a blue thing IDENTICAL to that blue one in the cabinet, TODAY. At a goodwill for $1.99 lol. ❤️
Aww my grandma had/has that bird cookie jar!
that duck figurine looks like howard the duck he was a disco duck lol
I really enjoyed this video. Saw a lot of new things, learned some new things. As always, you're the best!
I remember! Back in the day it was only the antique stores and you’d usually find a gem! Good eye you have 🙃
Back to the roots. ☺️

You are so good at filming and sound! Thanks for the trip to an antique store!
I can't believe you passed up the Jeanette Jadeite Shakers! Those glow too!
Oh no you missed the adorable Owl Lamp, just before you picked up the chihuahua!!
Uh you do know you can take it ‘up front’ and ask what the price is... they can find out for you! Plus it looked like an embroidery piece behind that one!
Santa Box is new painted to look vintage, artist did a good job on new item.
I love the black and white dog at 14:25!
I have found my best-selling items are vintage teapots and cookie jars.
That looked like Howard the duck from the movie..loved that movie..I think it was in the 80,s when movie came out .
Mary Walker my thoughts too!🤣
Was that the Shafreequa Jaxson classic "Left On A Dirt Road" playing in the beginning?
Face vase unique. Sounds silly maybe, but the cream and blue unicorn is so pretty.
I just love that store! Awesome treasures.
Denture cleaner will get rid of hard water stains! I use it on our antique glasses!
03:14 I just bought that box in an estate sale - cost about a buck. Indian/Kashmiri paper mache stuff. Not worth much, but I know someone who likes boxes and someone else who likes boats, so ... Merry Christmas somebody!
Look for a yellow or red clay base for antique Majolica pottery.
Nice mall antiques trip. So much too see and buy. Lol 👍
The comps you said on the mccoy birdhouse, how did you find them? The comps I saw were around $10-14
I was using worthpoint.
Love all your videos. Did you ever get the third floor room emptied? Did I miss that video
Loved the little salt and pepper ladybugs
I love all info. Although, we can't always see the price. It would be great if you could actually say what the price is. I know that you do sometimes. I often pause and try to read it myself but alas... Thank you 😊
Anybody else think that duck at 12:18 kinda looks like Howard, the duck?
Those green glasses look like Griffins to me.
Why did you pass on the crewel, can’t you ask what the price is?
They are all diff sellers rented booths. So rule of thumb is, If there’s no price there’s no way to know without the place contacting the sellers. No price, no sale unfortunately!
What is going on in Pennsylvania that isn’t going on here in Wisconsin? That antique store has such cute things! Nothing like that here in Wisconsin, at least not that I’ve seen. :(
I always enjoy your videos Your camera is fire. What kind do you have ?
At 16:30 you entered a booth and on the left was a hurricane lamp, off white/tan with metal flours applied to it. I have one just like it and can't find any info on it. Do you have any idea about value?
I recently picked up a vintage Kaiser vase for £1 sold it for £10.
Thanks 😊
Thank you again 🙏🏻
You passed on the Fortnams and Mason hamper ??
Love that krewell , did you ask the price or is there an email to this shop. I can find out.
Question...why do they call it a Lazy Susan? I could Google it but it's more fun to ask on here.

@@godisgoodatht Thank you for your input.
How do you keep track that they gave you the discounts at the different booths once you get to check out? That seems difficult.
It's a Griffin, green glass
I Loved video and enjoyed video thanks for sharing.
did you ask anyone the price of the crewel framed work at the beginning of video?
I'm gonna have to go to an A.A. meeting tonight. Either that turn the sound off when I watch the vlogs. 😂
How do you research all of these items??? Whew, must take a ton of time!!
Thats what ,I was thinking

Jocelyn..You do not have 'to be a Math Genious..🤣to take 40%off...
The item is $40
10% off is $4
40% off is $4×$4 is $16
Subtract $16 from $40
Your price to pay is $24..😃🤣
My head hurts. 😂
@@CrazyLampLady HaHaHaHa! 😂🥴
No price, oh it's FREE!
Why is it called, "three faces"?
I absolutely loved the black and white picture of the woman smelling the rose! It was behind the Namagi(sp?) vase. Thoroughly enjoyed your video!
Love the chicken..
hi Jocelyn .. why don't you take unmarked items up to the till and then decide if it is what you want to pay !?? ... Each booth is owned by a separate person. The cashiercant price it, they have to have the vendor or owner of the booth price it.
i wonder how sting feels being in an antique shop lol
I saw a band group photo for sale she walked by. Was that him?
Val Wiseman - Having met him & knowing his ego he prob thinks it should be priced in the thousands🤣! XXX J 😘🧡😻😻
I laughed hard at your comment! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Until I realised I sang to his songs when they were released! 🤔🤔🤔😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.

My goodness, there's a lot of background noise. What was going on in there?
I found a saxophone at my thrift store?? Is that normal?
What happened to the older lady that picked with you??? Love the channel btw ❤❤❤❤
