He is so spot on. My husband and I met at church dated through the church and got married there. A couple years into our marriage he started do very bad things. We will be married 27 years in February. But it’s be really rough. He faked being a man of God. My husband has had no evidence of Christ in his life most of our marriage. We had 2 sheriffs at our door yes my husband did something bad again. God laid in on my heart to be forgiving loving and do what I can to let him know Jesus is about to come and l pray for him . I can’t make him want Jesus or love Jesus. I had to give my husband and my marriage to God. I love my husband. I love Jesus my Lord and Savior. Matthew 10:22 says you will be hated by all for my name sake but he who endures to the end shall be saved. Our 2 sons hate me for my faith. I pray for my son too.

The Bible says confess & forsake! Acknowledge and confess your sin but true repentance is turning from sin and not continuing in it. Many claim to be Christians but have not truly humbled themselves before Jesus and repented (turned away) from their sin. We are all flawed, but until Jesus is the center and most important thing in our life we will not have true joy and peace.
