I can see the steps (PPP) of a great class. I have a little girl as a student and to ask her attention, I´ll do the same mimes as you´re doing. Great teacher, great methodology! Thanks a lot for the class.
Hello Dany, thanks a lot for your warm words. I am glad you found the video useful :) Just remember, it is all about gestures when it comes to teaching children :) Take care and good luck! Tom
I am doing a TEFL course at the moment and I watching this for an assignment! You have to adopt different methods when teaching people of different ages.
Hi Tom Thanks for these videos, I love them, they are very useful with my kids. I am a ESL teacher in Costa Rica, your material helps me a lot. Thanks and please don't stop!! Have a great weekend! Gabby from Costa Rica
@@MyWayEnglishcourses Hi, thanks for your reply. Things are ok with the COVID. I guess you are asking about that. Looks like COVID doesn’t like the tropic lol. I teach my 1st and 2nd graders using Teams. It is hard to teach another language to small kids but I’m doing my best. I try to make my lessons not to boring. But you are helping me a lot. Some even asked if you were from Costa Rica and my coworker too. Lol. Again thanks for everything. Have a great weekend
@@Hakkspettafarriss HI Gabby, I love Costa Rica. It must be interesting teaching there. I was on holiday in Tamarindo some time ago :) amazing place! Glad to hear things are going ok with Covid....unfortunately not so great here yet. I am really happy that your students like the videos :) Thanks for your feedback. Take care and pura vida! Tom :)
@@MyWayEnglishcourses Hi Tom, Omg, small world. Lol I’m glad you have visiting my country. Next time, when all this is over, if you come here, let me know. I’ll show you around. Even though, we are very small, there’s a lot of things to see here. And since your holidays are on different time as mine. I would love to show you my students. They would be thrill. Just an idea. Take care and Pura Vida! Have a great week Gabby 🇨🇷
Hi Brixton Brizzle, thanks for question. Just simply, we do not pronounce the "g" (we drop it in -ing form of the words). Tom exaggerates quite a bit in this video but it is only to make the point of not pronuncing the "g" as many English learners do so :)
Ok but you’re a great dancer 😂 Hahaha. Thanks for the class! This ESL teacher from Venezuela appreciated it 👏🏼
Hahah, thanks! :)
I will have a demo this Monday about present continuous. thank you so much for this idea :) EFL teacher here in taiwan :)
