I have recently purchased a property in ther UK with this system used for a car park area. It may well not be the same manufacture but the ones I have look very similar so be aware of the portential problems of using this method. There may be some on the market that do not permit the grit to fall through, the type I have does. Having got a similar product myself, my advice would be keep well away from the interlocking plastic squares for car parking. Once the sun comes out, it expands and lifts up. This allows the earth or grit or whatever you have used to fall through and prevents them from going flat again. You're then left with a car park with lifted and distorted pyrimids of plastic. I have them and they are truly terrible.
As a safety professional, I like that water does not puddle during the day to freeze at might causing slip and fall hazards for our employees arriving in the early morning hours.
I couldn't care less about the "greenness" of this product. I'm liking how I can redo our entire driveway system at our house for maybe a lot less than getting it cemented or blacktopped. I haven't checked out the price yet though. I may be in for a shock!

Guess someone who developed the process, designed and manufactured the machinery, hired and trained the workers, paid them, transformed the “garbage” into pavers, shipped them to you…….doesn’t deserve to be rewarded. After all garbage is free! You should go into business making free garbage pavers! Won’t cost you anything!
Thats pretty close to par for most permeable pavers and this saves $$$ in labor. I agree it isn't as cheap as I was hoping but its still not bad. Especially when you factor the base material for regular pavers will cost a lot extra too.
@@danielcoyne2917 it will never degrade. It’s like these new eco benches made of resin and recycled plastic .. how is making a permanent piece of pollution that’s then stuck in the natural environment make it ‘green’? If it doesn’t degrade, it’s pollution.
@@jobloggs7400 Recycling is considered being green. Reusing instead of landfilling or burning. Can be reused over and over again. Being Biodegradable is only a piece of the green puzzle. Im not a greenie by any stretch of the imagination. But i do know that reducing and reusing is part of the Green Initiatives.
@@jobloggs7400 It's a driveway, you don't want it to degrade. I don't even understand how this is a complaint. The "post-consumer" part means it's all recycled plastic. It's a new use for old waste, literally as green as plastic can be. This product also allows water to flow through and down into the ground, unlike concrete or asphalt runoff, which is less risk of causing localized flooding on your property or neighborhood in extreme rain. It won't disrupt natural grass and bug populations either, which is good for the local ecosystem. This... is super-green.

By the Texas Coastal Bend , we are perceptible to hurricanes , how dangerous can this loose gravel be in highwinds ?
