This card making idea uses three different colors of embossing powder. Today's video includes detailed tips on applying each color to avoid mixing as well as heat embossing how-to's.

I absolutely love this large Background Stamp! Another great idea how to make a beautiful card using Embossing powder! I love your creativity and the way you teach Lisa! I've had a lot of success in making backgrounds with this Stamp and doing the white Embossing powder and the sponge Sponge Brayer in many different colors. Hi from the uk.I love heat embossing and i also use the powders to colour in my stamps using an embossing detail pen as Im not good at colouring.Stay safe

Gorgeous card, Lisa! Love how you did the heat embossing. A tip for cleaning gunked-up scissors--squirt a little Goo Gone on a paper towel & rub it along the blades. (I generally fold my the towel 2-3 times over on itself to keep from cutting myself.) Takes adhesive right off the blades without harming anything. Just make sure you follow up with soap & water to get rid of any Goo Gone residue, so it doesn't get on your paper when you cut. Works like a charm! Thank you for sharing this. Beautiful! When I first saw that stamp, my first thought was that I didn’t want to have to do all of that coloring but then saw that some people had just used one ink color. Yours is so much more elegant! This would be beautiful to make a wedding card also! Thanks for sharing!

This is beautiful Lisa! Do embossing powders get 'old' after awhile? I was given some from a friend that cleaned out her craft room, and i noticed the gold wasn't embossing as smoothly as the silver did. Thanks!

I use Stazon cleaner.

SMH I was over-exuberant and added my powder into the same coffee filter. (I only had two colors so I used gold and white on colored paper.) So I now have a third color! The mixture actually gives a unique effect. Happy accident.
