I am not an expert, but I’m very impressed with the hustle these guys are showing. It took them less than three minutes to get water on the fire from all the UA-cam videos I watch that’s pretty impressive. Good work guys.

Amazing video! Watching first arriving companies set up and start their attack as well as so many great action shots. I also like how you edited it to show from the beginning into late in the incident all in 11:00 minutes. Really excellent job!
The hustle of the guy pulling the supply line and setting up the deck gun is impressive, as well as the sheer water power displayed as more assets showed up.

West Coast fire fighters seem to get water on the fire quicker than their East Coast counterparts. Not as fast as the Dutch who seem to spring from the engine with hose in hand. Kudos to LAFD!
You don't east coast with the water cause we are there faster and have lines in the building not fighting it from the out side like 90% of LA fire drpt does don't know why they have air packs everything I watch in LA is from the outside its fully involved

@@virgilhilts3924 He's talking about all the videos where it takes 6 or 8 minutes to get the first water going. What do you know about firefighting that justifies that?
Why do they have such powerful operating hoses in the USA? They often need 2-3 people to be able to move them. Isn't it better to go down in tube size and get better mobility?
In this case its defensive and a large fire. So using the deck guns and larger diameter hoses allow them to put huge volumes of water quickly on the fire. They aren't moving the hoses much so you can use that size. As well as their main concern now is exposure protection as the fire building is a total loss. So lots of water allows them to help keep the fire contained to that building.
