I am an Indian and would like to say if you see Hindi eliminate the whole Southern part of India. Your guesses will be far more accurate according to the language
Hello, I am amazed how good you can guess these places and wanted to help you a little in your guesses regarding india 1.Using language As you already know southern and northern india use different script like southern use a swirly script and northern part use devnagari script which used in hindi and it's modified script can be seen in gujrat where the upper bar is missing but the script is almost similar to hindi. The Bengali script also very similar and use pointy letter in their script and Maharashtra uses almost identical script to hindi. In Southern parts you can notice Kerala and tamilnadu use a swirly script but they have some square shaped letters in th script. Karnataka, Andrapradesh, Telengana have perfectly swirly script in it. 2.Using monument and temples You can distinguish whether you are in North or in south using shape of the temple like in south temples tops are squary but in North they are pointy. Many of taj mahal like structure only found in Delhi, Utter Pradesh and Andrapradesh which belongs to Mughal period. 3.Using mile stone on the side of the road You can easily find out whether you are on national highways, state highway or on a village road using their colours on the top like yellow, dark green, orange respectively. 4.Autorickshaw Yellow and green auto are generally belongs to Delhi area and it's surrounding and they have this colour because they work on cng which cause less pollution in area like delhi. Black autorickshaw can be found and other state of India but Tamil Nadu have yellow on the bottom and brown or black top. 5.Palm trees can be found in coastal region of India not necessarily in south but coconut trees are majorly foud in south. Hope this can help you for improving your skill in india and happy to help further more if like. Thanks for reading
@@blanco7726 They are vary according to the type of road as follows National Highway - Yellow on top State Highways - Green on Top Rural road - Orange on top or only white
Do you think these explainer videos help you as well? As a teacher myself, teaching physics really helps me refine and remember physics myself, so I feel like this def doubles as World Cup prep for you
12:24 pretty sure the pink thing on the pole is just an advertisement flyer. It looks like the pole was too thin for them to paste it normally, so they just decided to stick it sideways wrapping around the pole and hope people would tilt their heads to read them 😂
Telangana use to be part of Andhra pradesh until 2014 so poles of both states are similar & installed by single state govt company. So poles help you narrow down area but some states will be using similar poles. Yes in india we can brk state & create one more.
Video idea: see how many games in a row you can win of the country streaks and distance multiplayer modes. Since the rounds are long you can explain your thoughts naturally. If the game mode is too easy then you could do how many you can win in an hour.
Great going!! And if it helps to remember Madhya Pradesh translates to Central State Madhya - Center/Central Pradesh - State Similarly Uttar Pradesh Uttar - North Andhra Pradesh Andhra - South Arunachal Pradesh Arunachal - Land of rising Sun - East Himachal Pradesh (Not sure if we have it in geoguesser yet - I'm from here though) Himachal - Snowy Slopes - North Along with states, you can get a sense of directions as well Good luck :)
As an indian i will point out some small things i notice to help you out punjabi dhaba the hotel in round one is not specific to a region it can be found anywhere
in the round with the sign you said you think close to delhi if you had just scanned a little on the map you would have recognised a big city from the signs easily
the difficult gujrat pocket can be explained like this if its salt pan marsh land dry vibes, its gujrat if its thorny shrubury dry desert vibes s rajasthan
Hey, I can't remember where I saw it, but you were using an extension or software of some kind to overlay satellite or topographic view over the geoguessr map. I think it would be an amazing way to practice, but I can't find it. Would you mind pointing me to it?
Just say M.P. for Madhya Pradesh... it's widely called with that abbreviation as well! Similarly, U.P., U.K. and H.P. for Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh respectively.

Gotta visit india one day bro
telangana and andhra pradesh were one state until recently so much infrastructure will be similar
YES FINALLY ANOTHER EXPLAINS EPISODE
Great going!!
And if it helps to remember
Madhya Pradesh translates to Central State
Madhya - Center/Central
Pradesh - State
Similarly Uttar Pradesh
Uttar - North
Andhra Pradesh
Andhra - South
Arunachal Pradesh
Arunachal - Land of rising Sun - East
Himachal Pradesh (Not sure if we have it in geoguesser yet - I'm from here though)
Himachal - Snowy Slopes - North
Along with states, you can get a sense of directions as well
Good luck :)
Thoroughly enjoyed this video, India is definitely a weak point for many players so tips are always appreciated. Trust the poles :)
21:50 💀
Don’t trust the poles too much
As an indian i will point out some small things i notice to help you out
punjabi dhaba the hotel in round one is not specific to a region it can be found anywhere
YES SIR
thats all coconut trees, keeps saying palm palm palm
9:27 wow if i get that round on any world map i'd never guess india
Why?
i just watched the round again and with the giant car blur i think yes i would guess india
Cant wait for the world cup, lets go
9:33 roads will always be narrower in that state unless its a full highway
in the round with the sign you said you think close to delhi if you had just scanned a little on the map you would have recognised a big city from the signs easily
Hey one tip: Black soil is most of the times Maharashtra 9/10 times. It might be Madhya pradesh 1/10 time.
But West Coast of maharashtra is red soil mostly
the difficult gujrat pocket can be explained like this
if its salt pan marsh land dry vibes, its gujrat
if its thorny shrubury dry desert vibes s rajasthan
in urban rounds shop sign boards will have address written many times
if you ever practice moving
Just with the landscape very difficult to guess I was literally guessing maharashtra every time
i see you getting frustrated at the end there
india is difficult
but you are amazing and learning proud of you
"i gotta get used to saying" 12:04 🤣you are pronouncing an 'r' in madhRa pradesh when actually it is a 'y' madhYa pardesh
if looking at people is ever a good strat learn what a lungi is and its a typically southern attire
seeing freight trains parallel to roads you can confidently put maharashtra or odhisha
green mountains is most of the time western coast parallel range called western ghats
no yellow water tyank in maharashtra
overall poletops will never be a very consistent meta in india
17:13 Connecticut poletops :D
density of google coverage is higher in south than north
the big car blur is many times central(away from coast) maharashtra
proud of you to recognise that 16:25 had a northern language but not hindi, its bengali

I'm Indian and I don't think I could've done any better than you lol
You could have read the boards and predicted the location correctly unlike him. There's one with Rohtak written on it
you sure don't work
windmills is always coastal gujrat
rarely maybe coastal maharashtra or odhisha
35:05 was inside a park so its ok you didn't get it
India is one country that can melt your brain if you play geo guessr
is there a script to play with the google terrain map on instead?
India looks different across regions
never heard the rockwalls thing for udaipur
its never goa if you are confused
Just say M.P. for Madhya Pradesh... it's widely called with that abbreviation as well! Similarly, U.P., U.K. and H.P. for Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh respectively.
bhadra is a part of haryana 10:55 geoguesser might have a mistake there
don'y fuss too much about losing state streak in delhi cause its way too complicated there to get right
"random mountains" chattisgarh
Bangladesh was a part of india so you said it backwards. Bangladesh looks like west bengal
What’s with the red lipstick
He keeps his camera and display saturation settings to highest so maybe that's why
