  • Looking for a watersports vessel with incredible wave-riding abilities? Look no further than the MB B52 Classic Boat! This 23-foot boat produces a wave that is on par with ones found in more expensive vessels - this is thanks to its shared underwater running surface, ballast, and surf system with the Alpha model.
The B52 Classic is crafted by the Brendal family who have been making boats since the 1970s so you can trust its craftsmanship and quality. Plus, production of each of these boats are limited to 250-300 per year, making them quite a rare find. And despite all these features, it has a surprisingly low weight of 7200 pounds on the trailer!
If you're looking for an incredible watersports experience at an affordable price point then look no further than the MB B52 Classic Boat!

Best slalom boat I’ve ever ridden behind is a 95 brendella. Glad to see that family still carrying the flag!

These boats are sweet, we ended up with an s220 just due to the local mb dealer being further away

Those are great boats, if I didn't go MB I would have gone with a S220.

I'm thinking of purchasing a 2022 MB Sports B52 Classic. I like to waterski - any comment on being able to waterski behind this boat?

Hey man! Greta video! We have a Sanger v210 and love the boat. But we’re looking for something a bit bigger with a surf system like you have with the MB. Did you look at Sanger at all? We’re leaning toward a V237 - curious to hear your thoughts. We really love the build quality of our Sanger. I have a feeling since both MB and Sanger are low-volume west coast boats, they are both really great for the money?

Sanger and MB are the best boats for the money. Only Skiers Choice comes close in bang for buck. The V237 has a great wakeboard wake for spinning tricks. Surfs pretty good. The 231sl is a beast for surfing and good wake. Yet you can’t go wrong with any MB. It would be nice if each company would put out solid 10 minute videos of pro’’s wakeboarding and surfing their boats.

I currently have a V237 and will say, it isn’t a great surfer. No bad by any means but does not get the quality of wave the 231sl gets. As a bigger guy, it doesn’t get enough push to drop the rope.

Weird, my MB B52 came with a nice Boatmate trailer with runway lighting. That was the only option or no trailer at all.

Did you buy it from boat shack?

Great review. Looks like you are putting the trailer in too deep and that might be some of the issue. Boatmate has become garbage so don’t option one from them on your next boat. Phoenix is the new go to

What is a comfortable cruising speed in what RPM are you cruising at about 25? What is the top speed if you were to hold it wide open empty

    • @obsessedwakesurfer
      @obsessedwakesurfer  Рік тому

Sorry I missed this. Cruising speed is around 25 mph, I'll have to get back to you in the spring on exact RPMs but it's real low. I have actually never opened it up to find out, I'm assuming low 40s like most.

How is the warranty? dealing with a small batch company I would think they would have issues with quick turn around. Lost almost all last summer with a brand new Malibu and dealer was backed up all summer trying to get it fixed.

Man, that sucks! The dealer has been great with very fast turn around with less than week. have about 190 hours on it it so far, other than a Lenco tab actuator going bad and a loose front ballast inlet, she's been trouble free!

Hey boss, just wondering if you have anything special going on for towing? I have a ecoboost raptor and I just want to make sure all is good with towing before I buy my boat.

I added Firestone air bags with Daystar offroad cradles, Falken Wildpeak AT/3W 10 ply E load tires, and Bilstein shocks- it is night and day difference in towing stability vs stock. The Raptor suspension is pretty soft for that smooth offroad ride but a lot of Raptor guys add Deaver springs to stiffen things up for better towing.

Thanks @obsessedwakesurfer your definitely right, truck pulls the boat like nothing! even with MT 37s. My suspension is pretty soft in the rear, but no issues so far getting to my local lake. I will definitely look into some deavers soon 🤙 thanks for the response
