Thanks for the explanation. What I understand is orbits are paths where electrons revolve around the nucleus. Where as orbitals is a place inside the orbit where electrons are situated. Am I right?

It was a good explanation but if you have absolutely no idea then i suggest reading op tandon in here he just helps to visualize as for example i knew that there are 2 electrons in an s orbital and there are 6 electrons in the p orbital and a little abt orbitals but i just wanted to clarify what exactly does it mean . So i think you should read the Book , that is very good.
