Hi marc I use a electric knife and let the bait only half thaw before cutting it work great

Great explanation. Saw the super brine stuff in the tackle store so now I know to grab some. Great choices for topics. What's your go to bait/lures for staging kings? Especially when they are in shallow water. Thank you

Thanks for sharing Mark. Nice easy recipe. I was wondering where you source your bait? Are you getting it from West coast or did you find a supplier in Southern Ontario? I am interested in finding supplier mainly for whole Herring for strips, I am located in S.Ont.

While you're on this type of subject, do you use scents on your lures? I've tried a really popular brand and never even gotten a bite,I also used thier brine but it was colors and that didn't work either. I haven't been back out since because of multiple back surgeries and a nerve issue, this year is looking better so I'm trying to plan ahead.
