I would recommend you to use stacked ships (naval divisions with Destroyers, Battleships, or even Aircraft Carriers), when transporting a large division over the sea. Referring to the part at the end, where your unprotected 55K tanks got sniped from a single sub which is annoying and painful to deal with, but that could’ve easily be prevented if you had a destroyer.
Units can move on water faster than using the Technology tree (researching mobility branch)
When invading Germany with the tanks, you should split your division. I saw some single divisions stacked with 5K tanks capturing cities, but if you split their division it would’ve made invading way more faster.
