This is why I still buy albums or songs. Vinyl or cd. I buy it on iTunes if I can't find it, then buy vinyl or cd, when I find it. Spotify, tidal and so on has never appealed to me.

I feel the same way as Steve, but on a different media, going back to the 70s and 80s when Steve was at his peak, photography the supply of images, was something that cost a premium price, if someone wanted an image they would go to an image library and would pay £100- up to 4 or even five figure sums for an image, the press would easily pay 5k or more for an image or video, on top of this they would syndicate the image and give the photographer a cut of that money, now we have micro stock companies where people or companies can subscribe for a monthly or yearly subscription, and download images with the artist receiving as little as 4 pence for an image sale, that image could end up on a website or brochure of a multi billion pound company. the media now does not pay for images or video, they give a byline and some actually in their terms and conditions will syndicate that image and keep every penny, I hope Steve can get his work taken off of these streaming services, I sell images full time and make a living, but because the industry has been dumbed down, I still receive emails requesting my images for free and just a byline, my reply is that when a supermarket, a restaurant or a petrol garage will accept a byline as a payment they can have that image for a byline

Love the man’s music and happy he is doing well, health and in every other way. A lot said here that is simply anecdotal. Neither of these men understand science, mathematics or statistics. Inform yourselves fully instead of speaking from ignorance. Stopped half way through and unsubscribed.
