The great thing about american tanks, is that they have something called stabilizers. Which makes the turret stable while on the move for more accurate fire while moving.
Nimori Kandara unlike every other tank in the war, the Stabilizer gave the Easy eight it’s name
It's a Vertical stabilizer that effects the gun - not the whole turret. More modern vehicles may have a horizontal stabilizer as well - that would effect the turret.

I never really noticed this while watching through GuP, but the events from 3:55 to 4:09 don't make any sense at all. It shows both tanks fire at the roughly the same time, and the Saunders flag tank was much closer to the Pz. IV, but the Pz. IV Ausf. D has the super short barrel 75! Being an infantry support howitzer, that gun fired at around a third the velocity of the Fireflies gun IRL, yet they somehow hit the flag tank(no small feat considering they were shooting at it with a relatively innacurate, extremely low velocity howitzer while it was moving at full speed from at least 300 meters!), and still have several seconds to spare before the firefly's shell reaches them!
