It's OK for Amy and Bernadette to go do something But if Penny wants to do something by herself, those two turn into creepy stalker mode especially Amy
The difference in social perspectives, Bernadette is a naturally nosy person, Amy has attachment issues for various reasons and Penny is the most socially healthy member of the group (she still has he problems of course, but she's just a lot more accustomed to engaging with a variety of people.)
Wow Sheldon humiliated Amy and Bernadette in front of the whole crowd in the bar and I’m surprised no one is even silent angrily muttering and shamming them
(Knocking on window) Amy & Bernadette! (Knocking on window) Amy & Bernadette! (Knocking on window) Amy & Bernadette! Why did you lied to us?!?!?!😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Penny and Sheldon are always the best, and the best part of any episode is when they are together and have a storyline together - fact. And Amy and Bernie are both hypocrites! When Penny wanted to do smth alone, on her own, they always ended up bitching to her about it, but here they are, lying and enjoying themselves without Penny!
"So Leonard, how are you enjoying Anything Can Happen Thursday?" 1:27 Man, last Anything Can Happen Thursday, he went to bar to pick up women cause Penny went to Stuart's comic book thing and now this.
Two words: Shit writing. It was after season seven that the show began to decline, but it started to do so also at this point as well. Also, the psychic scene just never sat well with me. I wished they’d made Penny move on from this shit, because in season three, the psychic episode was terrible because they resolved NOTHING by the end; it only established that Penny is NOT open minded, and she became offended when Leonard implied so.
Leonard implied he thought Penny was complaining too much about the movie. He did not support her & thus "abandoned her" to defend herself alone against the claim.
As I commented before, this is a great episode when Penny and Sheldon once again support each other and Penny makes Sheldon go to the psychic, and it is once again proof, that the main problem of this show later on, became the main romance! It's not Penny who was horrible, she was great and a sweetheart with literally everyone else but Leonard (well, she was nice to Leonard too, but only at the start, first 2 seasons). It's Leonard and Penny who are horrible and miserable together! The writers simply dropped the ball regarding the writing of the couples on this show, especially the two main ones. Leonard & Penny were only good together for two and a half seasons, three tops, after that, with each new season they started to be more & more insufferable together, they should have never been a couple past season 4, when it was more than clear it's not working anymore! Penny should have ended up with Sheldon, period, and Amy should just be a background character and a friend in the group, or possibly just disappear at some point like Lucy or Emily, but this would only be possible if the writers were smarter and brave, put together Sheldon&Penny, and then found a new, better girlfriend for Leonard, and so the new Leonard's girlfriend would have Amy spot/role in the cast. The writers could have fully developed Alice for example, the comic book/artist girl who was into Leonard and she was a beauty, or they could have chosen Pryia to stay with Leonard, or Alex, Sheldon's assistant who had a crush on Leonard. The great options were there. That way the group would still end up a group of six friends, but without the annoying Amy who didn't fit with Sheldon for me, plus, that way we could have had Penny and Sheldon together at some point. So I agree with the overall sentiment, Penny& Leonard became the problem! Outside of Leonard and having to deal with his clinginess and insecurity 24/7, Penny grew to be an amazing friend for all the rest: Bernie, Amy, Raj, Howard, and especially Sheldon! So the problem was not Penny's character itself, it was the Leonard & Penny pairing that was the big problem!
No, Amy and Sheldon never belonged together. Jim Parsons has said many times on interviews and at Comic-Con ‘Penny was a mother figure to ‘Sheldon.’ You’re overthinking everything!

@RitaNathaniel I'm not reading your entire article about Penny. She was a terrible spouse, nothing you say changes that.
