Hi! I use a good hoop, which holds the fabric tight. You need to stretch the fabric well in the hoop and fasten it tightly.

What u do with these beautiful embroidery...is it for garments or wall hanging
I used some of them to embroider on the baby dress. You can use it in any way you wish, for wall hanging as well, to decorate any textile things.

Why did you mark lines with pen?
If you mean the marks on the hedgehog - I make it for the direction of the stitches, so it is easier to make stitches in the right direction.

How do you do that with your thread? I've tried numerous times and it tangles terribly every time. Any tips on how fix this?
Hi, how does it tangle? I do embroidery as well, maybe I can help :)
@@karolinao.o6167 yes, it gets knotted on the bottom portion. I usually pull the threads I want to free upward and at the same time, I pull the bottom threads downward. Maybe this is why it tangles. But I've tried it with different threads and I get the same result. Any pointers?
@@clarethalvarez4024 Well, maybe try to change the material on which you do your embridery, or get another size of needle. But my personal guess would be the fabric. Which fabric do you use?
Hi! It is difficult to say what is the reason without seeing the process... Maybe you take a very long thread, then it gets tangled. Or you can try a different fabric, as was suggested in the comments here. I use DMC embroidery floss, it's easy to work with, and I usually use natural linen fabric, or cotton+linen fabric
@@karolinao.o6167 Thanks for the suggestion. I realize that I did not explain my process...I actually meant the actual pulling apart of the the embroidery floss from it's bundle, like she does in the very beginning of the video in order to thread the needle. Thanks for your input! I appreciate it🙂

I usually mention details about the materials I use - in the video in subtitles, and in the PDF files that go along with every video. You can find linen fabric that I use in my shop vingert.store, as well as all PDF files too.

How often do you end your thread when you're moving around the fabric? For example, the hedgehog's feet/nose area use the same color - do you travel between them without ending your thread?
Hi! If you plan to close the back of the embroidery, and if your fabric is thick enough (so that the threads from the back side do not show through the fabric), you can stretch the thread from one element to the next. I do this in my instructional embroidery, which I do for the video tutorials. But for embroidery on clothes or other things, where the back side is visible, it's necessary to learn the ways to make a beautiful back side.
