I have the same Brother machine. My Mom gave it to me brand new in 1996 And yes mine is yellowish too. I'm going to paint it one day, maybe lime green!

I’ve never thought of painting it that’s such a good idea! Mine also used to belong to my mum, no idea how long she had it before me. Did you notice the washi tape I have to use to keep the front compartment cover in place? It falls off otherwise 😂 and the lightbulb has died and I can’t find information on what the right replacement is because it’s so old!

It’s so much nicer in person too as there’s such a pretty subtle shimmer on the snowflakes - so hard to show things on camera sometimes! 🩵

They are all beautiful. I was going to choose poinsettia because the little cat image was speaking to me! But it got snapped up too quickly! Red trees also looked amazing so picked that one instead 😊 xx You are very talented with your creations.

I just discovered you, so this question may have been asked before, I am wondering if you have a special sewing machine you use just for your journals?
Nope - just a regular old (emphasis on old 😂) sewing machine. If you were using leather or anything like that you’d need a special one but for paper and light card a normal machine works fine.
