The one silver medal that said rifle is a marksmanship medal, I had about twenty of my husbands framed for a wedding gift. You are going to have so much fun sorting and categorizing everything, you will be dreaming about projects that will use these pieces! Have fun!!♥️🙏🏻🌺
Awesome box! I saw a wonderful journal where the closure was a piece of fabric wrapped around the journal like the obi on a kimono. They had used a ring like your bamboo ones to feed the fabric through to secure it in place! It was wonderful!! Enjoy 😊
What great mixture of findings! Love the small bottle caps. The bamboo rings could be used in making purses. There seems to be alot of steam punk and mixed media findings. The medals looked like military honors TYFS❤❤❤
You could use those bamboo rings and some cord to diy some macrame plant hangers. The Halloween charms, maybe turn them into wine glass charms. The buttons have a wide assortment of uses.
The strang pieces ,such as the spark plugs and latches, light switch, may have been used in mixed media canvases! I did some of these at one time! They were a lot of fun! They have some fun videos on the subject on mixed media!
The metal christmas pieces are attached to a page by putting a brad thru the little hole in each piece. They are probably over ten years old at least. Have recently found you and I do enjoy watching the hauls.
That was a great mystery box! I got a 15.00 one from somewhere else and it truly was barely worth it. So many small pieces of colored paper in different shapes from being used. But a mystery box is just that and we take that risk. Congrats on a great box!
Those plastic doilies are used when coffee/tea/avocado dying. Wet the paper then lay it flat with the plastic doily/tablecloth/placemat on top and dry in the sun.
Try to add some water to the doilys. It might spread the color that’s on there and you wound need to add more. I always wet my doilys before spraying. Seems to help it work
Most of the items in the baggie (mostly metal and keys...yeah, all Prima,Finnabar, and older Tim Holtz) Score. Lots of money in that little baggie of treasures.

Thank you for commenting 🤗
The part where you said "is this fireman? Let me know what these are"
They appear, very much so, to be Armed Services MEDALS. ❤
That’s really cool! Thank you o
I think of napkin rings when i see the bamboo rings. 😊
Ooh good idea!
Lots of fun charms
Yes!!
Woweeee what a great mystery box. Charms and embellishments for days. I especially love those bottle top letters, so so cool😊❤
Thank you for watching and commenting!
Bamboo rings = curtain rings. Wright's makes a lot of home decor/curtain parts and pieces.
Thank you !

Thank you. I’m really happy with it! Definitely risky when you don’t truly know what all is in it.

I’m definitely going to try it. These are cotton but I think they will work the same.

Thank you ! I’ll definitely try that !

Oh wow!!
The bamboo rings could be made into miniature wreaths. The medals might be Army service awards.
Love the wreath idea! Thank you
I love those buttons….I wish I would have kept my Moms button tin😞….awesome finds
I’ve definitely gotten rid of things I regret.
Hey Kristen, just realized I know you on WN too. Lol Blessings Shirlene
