Thanks for reviewing it, i just wanted to ask, is it possible to use the TH16 simply as a wifi switch (by entering the app and switching it on/off or by timer) without connecting either sensors? (Ideally i would like to use this turn my water heater on after my alarm early morning)
Can you add sonoff th16 to smart life app? Is it possible? Because the eWelink is very buggy and unreliable. Timer isn't working properly and the push notification sometimes it works sometimes not.

I had real trouble with the connecting to the terminals. Is the technique to press down the tab with a screwdriver, insert the wire then release the screwdriver ?
I would have really loved this to control a room air conditioner but whole degree Celsius is a very large swing temp wise and would lead to an uncomfortable room. are there any models that will work with Fahrenheit or decimals of Celsius?
Old post, I reach out anyway, Hello I am about to install 1 TH16 and 3 sonoff basic, I want the to turn off or on the 3 basics depending on the temperatures at different points say turn on 1 basic at 60 degrees the 2nd at 70 degrees and the 3rd at 80 degrees , can I do this with 1 TH16 and 3 sonoff basics ? or do I need 3 flippen TH16, thank you for any information you provide

Thanks for your reply. But I was asking if I need to buy any other Sonoff components, sorry for any confusion. Sounds like the TH16 and temp probe are all I need, then I can use the eWeLink app to configure it to turn on a light (or sound an alarm, or whatever I connected to it) when the temp probe hits X degrees.

Why did u use ewelink with it when you can flash tasmota onto it easily?

no it cannot connect to your phone. the jack is smaller than the standard 3.5 mm jack. You can get a adapter and that will work

nope you dont need to buy anything else, you can use the sonoff by it self, you dont need sensors. but its good if you have them

Check the fuse, the fuse probably went out

Hi, When testing this unit you did not need the case to be open. You should teach best practice and connect it to the mains with the cover on.
I agree, few times his hand seemed so close to touch, i do recommand people watching this to be carefull, do not remove the cover when it is wired

you can, if you flash it with your own firmware. but other than that i dont think you can
yes soldering two wires to the bottom of the toggle and use a bell push type switch there is vids on the tube how to do it
