    Nice video. BTW, iam planning to buy the dual channel. Can I connect / power this to my Sound System (100 watt) or to my TV (60 watt) with the total of 160 watt, at the same time with only one channel?

      yes you can, but you would have 2 wires connected to the same bus terminal. not sure if it would be the safest way to go

    I used a Sonoff Dual and wired my ceiling fan to turn the fan and the light - EACH - on and off with the app and Alexa. Each works independent of the other.
    How you may ask? So simple, it should have been done and posted on UA-cam already. We need someone that does videos to do this and document it.
    I cut a 3 or 6 foot 2 prong extension cord about 12" from the female plug. Then wire the two prong cord/plug into the L and N of the Dual contacts Input. Before I get into the attic, I program the Dual to the WiFi and give it the switches temporary or permanent names.
    I have access to my attic and the upside of the ceiling mount I turned off power and installed a one gang box and a single 120v wall outlet with cover. I like the simplicity of being able to unplug the fan from power with just unplugging it. Connect Output 1 to the Blue wire of the ceiling fan. Connect Output 2 to the Black wire of the ceiling fan. Connect one of the Dual's N to the white wire of the ceiling fan. You only need to connect one of the Dual's N to the ceiling fan. Leave the ground wire on the ceiling fan connected to the ground on the 120v installed wall outlet. Now plug the plug into the outlet and power up the Dual. Turn power back on at
    outlet/ceiling fan.
    Now the Dual allows me to name and turn on and off each - the fan and the light, or I can use the Dual’s primary name and turn both on or off at the same time.
    I don't know a better place to post this, so maybe it will benefit others that would like to do it. Cool, huh? Now, I plan to use the two sets of terminals on the Dual to add two small momentary switches at the wall switch and run lightweight 22 gauge speaker wire down from the Dual to the light switch, so they can be turned on and off manuals, and reset.

      Based on your guide. I take it once you successful paired the dual. Then disconnected if from the mains power. The dual saves (remembers) the paired settings.
      Q1.Do not need to pair it again?
      Q2.Once paired, can I connect and control it from more than one phone?
      Q3.How do you set up with Alexa?
      Thanks.

    is it possible to add a temperature sensor to this like the TH10? Also, can this or the TH10 have 2 sensor inputs, so I could monitor Temp with the DS18B20 and pressure sensor?

    Great review I want these to manually be hooked up to my light switch on the wall, so I'll be using the tiny pins instead of the screw on the outside? They seem pretty small is there any adapter to connect it to?

    Hi, do you know if it's possible to change the relays to have NC/NO outputs?

    Does the temperature sensor work with this? Can it be used to automate both channels individually at different temperatures, lets say if I've got 2 fans connected to the unit and want to switch on the 2nd fan at a higher temperature than the first.

    Seeing this, I fear for your safety.
    Too close to live stuff, two hands on live stuff, ring on finger, live wires poking out of the lamp holders.
    At least turn the power off when sticking screwdrivers in that aren't insulated.
    Good demo of the device but zero marks for safe working

    Can you use this controller with a regular wall switch on the main load? And is there any way to power-on one of the outputs automatically when you power-on the controller? For example: when you turn on the wall light switch to power-on only one bulb and the other one to be controlled only trough the app.

    • @MadeEasyChannel
      @MadeEasyChannel 7 років тому

      Yes you can, but only thing with that is you have to connect your switch to the small pins on the sonoff 6:00 in the video i show those pins

    • @okaramfiloff
      @okaramfiloff 7 років тому +1

      I don't think it is possible in my case. Because the main power source goes trough the light switch. I don't have a separate power source to connect it to the load. And i cannot add another pair of cables.
