Hi Janice! I would recommend watching Sean Kaleponi's videos on Oahu. He's Hawaiian and goes all out in his editing. He also just went to Maui and interviewed the people of Lahaina❤️
The ramen looked Delish and that dole ice-cream was pricey but Hawaii isn’t cheap but a beautiful place.. i think it would be exciting to go to a movie set too hehe love it …x❤️🥰💕

I was in hawaii recently as well as mainland america. Its very hard to find food. In melbourne or sydney, you walk around and there restaurants everywhere. In america you have to specifically go and search them out. And the prices are ridiculous

FYI shrimp trucks on the north shore are under attack. Over 95% of them will be forced out of business by the city council of Honolulu if they pass bill 10 land use ordinance changes. The govt. in Hawaii is fascist in cahoots with developers just as we see with the burning of Lahaina on Maui so developers can take over with a land grab. Bill 10 is designed to severely handicap small farmers on Oahu so they give up and sell devalued properties to developers or be confiscated by the government. This is more land grab from the local people. The govt is very corrupt in Hawaii. If you go to the north shore of Oahu and see only a few shrimp trucks left, don’t buy from them or support their business. The smaller operation trucks who don’t have space or money to provide paved, painted lines parking stalls if the city council requires them will be forced out of business leaving only the big business shrimp trucks to monopolize the business. Just another example of the fascists taking everything over. Please support small business, not the criminals! Please spread the word!

Good food but so expensive. I would have thought American portions would be bigger. + you also have the tipping culture which sucks
oh yeah, it was very expensive, esp because the aussie dollar was weaker than the USD. i found the prices to be similar to Aus - as in, a bowl of ramen is around $18 bucks in Sydney too, except... in Hawaii it's 18 USD and I still gotta add taxes & tips..!
