U literally just saved me the biggest headache in the world been dealing with travel assist for 2 months after turbo muffler delete and diverter valve. Didn’t know u had to adapt the battery
@Reallseb Yessir! I agree best new gen 4cyl🤛🏾 Ok, twin turbo eh? With reliability? I'd like to learn more about it. Nissan has a couple twin turbo V6 beasts too!
I had the H&R and my Mk6 and they were way too stiff for me, car bounced everywhere. Switch to the Eibach/Bilstien setup and it’s like a stock ride but sits flat around corners and no more wheel gap.
It seems like the majority of the MK7 19-20 parts could fit this. Did the springs make you recalibrate the front assist systems? I’m looking at the APR Roll Control springs since it says for use with or without DCC.
@@Reallseb I'm just waiting for more parts to actually release for this thing. I know the AWE Track Exhaust fits which I'll get, again. I want to et paddle shifter extensions like I had in my 202 GLI but I think these in the 2024 are slightly different so I'm afraid to order a set and have them be wrong. But all the other parts I had on my 2020, I'm gonna get for this one because they all fit. The springs you got were from 2019-2020 and they worked? I thought lowering these with DCC may cause issues if you didn't get the right springs or something.
@oTitanBlacko These mk7.5 Glis are on the mqb platform still. Most if not all the parts from the 2019-2023 jettas will fit the 2024 model. The springs I got fit the mqb platform, no issues with my dcc yet. I will be deleting dcc and running bags here soon anyway
I understand the reasoning for adapting the battery after you install a new one but why did you do it here? I've disconnected my battery probably 10 times to do upgrades and I've never adapted it after.
I want to get lowering springs but I’m a big fan of the “comfort” mode on the DCC. Do you think it’s worth it to basically render the DCC ‘useless’ with springs. I mean it looks amazing but I paid for that DCC so I just wanna make sure I’m getting the most out of my cash lol.
Got a question to all 24 GLI owners. On the sport gauge screen (the one with the boost gauge, g meter etc.) there is one gauge that measures the power in Kilowatt. on my Autobahn that gauge does not move, it is always at 0 at full throttle or at a stop like it is broken. I have seen it working normally on other model years. The other gauges work just fine. I know this screen is mostly for fun and the KW gauge is useless, but it is such an odd issue that is not worth a trip to the dealership. anyone else have this problem or a fix?
Yes this car has dynamic chassis control (dcc) 4 different modes, as well as a custom preset. Suspension changes from soft to stiff depending on the mode you’re in
I had the chance to drive an Elantra N, it’s a great car with great aftermarket support. A tough decision for sure. If it helps, this car looks and feels good on the inside & out
I was kinda in the same boat. I've owned and driven over 20 Mustang's in my life and wanted a 4 cylinder to mod and race for something completely different and working on v8's gets old after many years. Was down to the GTI, Accord 2.0T Sport and Elantra N. Decided on my GTI due to the aftermarket support. The EN was super nice and stock it sounds amazing but there's only so many mods companies make for them. Good luck
Biggest factor is the ability to push more power and which car is more reliable. In that case Volkswagen wins do the research and you will see I'm not lying
I really wanted to watch this video. I could not. Your camera work made me nauseous. I will not give you a thumbs up or down. I think the content might have been good
I just picked up my 2024 GLI 40th today!
How you liking it, im buying a car by the end of this month
@@certified2919I just traded my rline in and it’s so worth it bro
@certified2919 been great so far! What did you end up getting?
im
bringing mine back to the dealership today! Biggest mistake i ever made
@mattyice_13 Same! New video drops soon on why I sold it back🤫

Keep them up videos coming
Thank you🙏🏼
I picked up the exact same white 40th DSG GLI about 3 weeks ago. I've had multiple MK7s Good to be back in one again. Subscribed
It’s a great car! Ty🫶🏼

The space will end up hurting your turbo in the long run, these cars don’t need a spacer but a upgraded diverter valve will give you more noises
You’re exactly right, these spacers are just a cheaper alternative
I have a 2024 GLI in black. Car is amazing. Spanked a 2023 BMW 330i in a race already
These are great cars especially for the money. Endless potential with plenty of aftermarket support, and they look good🧼
@@Reallseb they are amazing. Always wanted a German performance car but wasn’t willing to fork up BMW or Audi money.
Picking up my Gray 2024 GLI 40th in the morn. Its Pure Gray. SO STOKED!
@@armand0007 awesome you'll love the car bro
I just got my 2024 40th anniversary today in rising blue!
I have a mk7.5 jetta GLI basically all first mods I want it to do are the same but I’m thinking to get H&R lowering springs.
The springs are nice that’s for sure! These are placeholders because I couldn’t stand the wheel gap. Bags are coming sooner than later🤫

Didn’t have to re calibrate them no, but I did have to clear fault codes & adapt the battery

Lights on the dash. Didn’t want to risk codes being thrown so I just adapted it. Took me 5 minutes. You could probably get away with not doing it

Dcc will still function properly with these lowering springs, that’s when I had the car I opted to buy them vs. coilovers
@@Reallseb ohhh okay. do you have to recalibrate the DCC then? Cuz i’d imagine you drop it and it’ll just bottom out w/o calibration
@juvnchy I’d recommend recalibrating and clearing codes, explain it briefly in that video
I also wonder if the springs affects my warranty on my mk7.5 GLI
I would ask your dealer about that one
The 2019 to 2021 front bumper looks better without the red, any options for that or mods ??
Not that I’m aware of but you could retro fit the non facelift bumper. I’m working on dabbing fig lights for these 7.5’s
Thanks! has anyone seen this happen yet??

Same for me - Mine is a manual transmission 2024 Autobahn GLI and the KW gauge never moves - stuck at 0 :(.
I have the 2024 sport what exterior stuff do they have ?
As far as I know the sports are not far off from the base model. But if you want it to look like a Gli, all the parts are interchangeable
can you adapt the car battery with OBDEleven?
I’m not to sure on that one. I’d like to say you could but the only way to know for sure is to test it, that or look it up ;)
Yes you can. I did it a few times on my MK7 GTI. Check r/golfgti for an adaptation guide
What tint did you use for windows?
5% in the rear & I believe 25% up front
Hey bro does 40th university come with sport suspension?
