Home Delivery Dump Truckin'

  • Home delivery in Brookline, Ma. What you can't see are the four cars parked on the opposite side of the street making it a little tight hence the need for a pull up two super truckers. NOTE the hydrant and telephone pole in the reflection in my bumper. The man who was working at the house who walks up to me said he use to be a trucker and if this was him, he would have never attempted the delivery. Just another delivery in the day of the life of The Boston Trucker. Thanks for watching.

      Donny you're so right about that I don't know why people make it such a big deal about that stuff.Who gives a shit about how many pull-ups it takes if you get the job done with no damage that's a good day. This driver did a perfect job it has to be crazy stressful going to residential neighborhoods like that.

    Great job on a residential delivery! It takes a lot to be able to fit a tractor trailer into a house driveway. The haters are just jealous! I do excavating, and try not to leave dump truck and trailer along roads or streets. Some driveways are a challenge, but customers are amazed when they see you back it in there.

      saw that hydrant and pole in bumper reflection, LOL close up residential dumping! I always wonder about that gate post that we lose sight of on passenger side as we come out of turn to get straight up the drive. Nice for you that there was no problems with overhead obstacles. besides the Superliner that Pete is the best one! classy truck!....that my sir was one of the best back ups to a house/driveway I have ever saw! and to think the township wont deliver to my mother a load of chips because we live in a neighborhood and they did come out once, the man refused to back up his straight dump truck in our driveway, claiming it was too tight....(8 cars long, and 2 1/2 cars wide)...…..I could land a F14 in my driveway (well maybe that's over rating) to bad you don't live around here....we coulda used your talent....and backing up your trade is remarkable, I will always go out of my way for a gear jammer or throttle jockey....did them both....I remember picking up a ryder truck in some ones driveway one time, had a mack R686 with a 850 holmes…..granted a straight job...LOL....but you just out backed me....

    wow that's unusual using a dump trailer for home delivery. Everywhere I've worked we use Tri-axle dump trucks for that. Most trailers can't haul 23.5 to 25 ton and that's what most everybody wants. We do use them for hauling stock to blacktop and concrete plants and extremely large job sites. Nice truck you get to drive though.

    You mean taking 3 attempts to put a trailer in a parking lot of a driveway and the pulling a button is how it's done? Bravo

    • @os1k35
      @os1k35 7 років тому +1

      maidenrulz73 that's not three attempts that's called being one hundred percent sure you're not going to cause damage to your property or anyone elses it doesn't matter how many times you have to pull in and out it's all about being safe and getting the job done whether you're experienced or not all these people out there that are new drivers think that they're hot s*** and what do they do the end up breaking their rigs bumping into somebody else's truck at a truck stop taking down poles being stupid take your time be safe who cares about anything else

    • @maidenrulz73
      @maidenrulz73 7 років тому

      OS1K you mean new drivers like this guy right? Because anyone with experience would have had that trailer in there first time around....so by your observation of a new driver this guy should have hit a pole or backed over a lesbian or something...but he didn't .....all you old timers thinking because they're young they can't drive....lol

    • @os1k35
      @os1k35 7 років тому

      well you must be having trouble reading I said with the experience you know no matter what to take your time and be safe when you're backing all these new drivers are generally stupid and run something over cuz they think that they're all hot s*** this guy took his time make sure he didn't hit someone's car or the guys fence or anything else like that it doesn't matter how many times you back it up so long as you get it in there safely without causing damage yes he probably could have got it back in there with one try but he took his time and that is experience showing

    I think the criticism is that yeah you did a competent job but if you are going to post it on youtube like its something special it would have been appropriate to be something special. Like nailing it on the first pass with no corrections. Otherwise day in the life ho hum you did your job. Heres your cookie.
    If you cant take a little criticism dont post it.
    But have a nice day and thanks for sharing.
