Edit: at 1:11, look in the top section for "Controller + Input" for the Overclock links. I moved them out from underneath and just added it to that category. Also, blippi.gg is now melee.tv.

In case anyone was wondering: I just tested this on my old Mayflash 2-port adapter (W013) and it worked just fine! However, I'm only getting 500Hz (this could be for many reasons though), but that's still a massive improvement from 125Hz. Not sure why only the 4-port is specifically stated to be the compatible one in every guide I came across. Probably no-one has a 2-port adapter to test it anymore? :P Well here you go guide-makers :) P.s.: Thank you very much for this guide

Dolphin is telling me that the pollrate is 500~Hz, while hidusbf was successful in setting it to 1000Hz. My original pollrate was roughly 62.5Hz, so I'm noticing a consistent halving in Hz. Anyone know why?
For those of you with a Mayflash 0.7 that cannot be downgraded to 0.5, if you plug 3 controllers in (make sure they are enabled in Dolphin's controller config) the polling rate goes up to 1000.
i dont see WUP when i open hidusbf driver. When I opened zadig-slippi : it says I already have HIDusb installed for WUP. But I can't change the polling rate with the driver...?
For people who had a similar issue to me and it was just red and couldn't change the value to 1. What worked for me was installing the default secure keys in the UEFI bios.

I dont know whats wrong. Mine doesn't come up with wup it comes up with wii GC adapter 3rd and whenever i change it, it does go to 1000 and Blnterval is set to 1 but when i go to check its still at 166hz

According to what Microsoft presumably intends as the definitive description of Driver Signing PolicyExternal link, “Starting with Windows 10, version 1607, Windows will not load any new kernel-mode drivers which are not signed by the Dev Portal” but Cross-signed drivers are still permitted if any of the following are true: The PC was upgraded from an earlier release of Windows to Windows 10, version 1607. Secure Boot is off in the BIOS. Drivers was signed with an end-entity certificate issued prior to July 29th 2015 that chains to a supported cross-signed CA. ----------- Now windows 10 is too strict to allow the previously cross signed driver There is a registry command for enabling cross signed drivers, its the WHQL command that can be added into your registry. More commonly, people will edit the existing registry line that tells windows if it was upgraded from a previous version such as windows 7. I saw a video of one of the fancy controller modders who actually did the steps on his desktop. sorry no link, info should be good enough. if ur savvy its Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CI\Policy you create new, name WhqlSettings choose DWord Edit value to 1 from 0 leave everything else default. hope that helps solve this specific issue for people, in an acceptable way.
You should have mentioned that the adapter had to be in Switch / WiiU mode not PC mode earlier. I almost made that mistake because I was watching and going step by step then pausing... Thank god it didn't, no idea what would have happened then.
In the usb devices setup part my wup028 turned red when I applied the change and now my emulators don't see it :( is there a fix or did I screw myself over

When trying to put the WUP-028 in filter, 2 warning pop ups appear, the second one, which seems the most important, tells me about an error #577 "windows cannot verigy the digital signature for this file..." and tells me simething about secure boot, antivirus, anticheat engine, idk what to do! I already uninstalled WUP and went to zudig and no luck
@@ernestomartinez1655 I had the same issue, I had to boot into my BIOS and disable secure boot. In the guide linked on Blippi.gg, it explains how to do that.

I just fixed this for myself, I had the adapter plugged into the wrong USB port, the ones on the front probably won’t work so I plugged into one on the back of the PC and it fixed the issue

Followed everything step by step and my WUP-028 line is still red and the value does not change from 8 to 1. I don't know know what's causing it, anyone else? Uninstalled wup-028 from device manager and reinstalled through zadig as well.

after I select 1000hz and click restart, number doesnt change, it stays at 8 and it gets like highlighted red and dolphin still says 125hz

just select the adapter, then click on the button "Install Service" and then try again, it should work

This includes going into the BIOS and trying to disable Driver Signature Enforcement. It just has the option grayed out and I cant alter it at all.

so I had actually download hidusb twice, I went to the original one I downloaded and it was fine.

When I tried to reset the device to set bInterval from 8 to 1, I got an error. Turns out I had to close Dolphin, and then it worked fine.
