    Buffy thank you for YOUR persistent attention regarding the "attack of BW". Last week, mid-flight, a flight crew verbally assaulted me, and accused me of "looking suspicious". Over the years of my life, i have had many incidents I wish cld have been exposed, but bc I am a BW there seemed to have never been any real recourse. I'm 60 yo and at this point it is EXHAUSTING! Because the situation, last week, was and still is so extremely frustrating i have not made a formal complaint with the airline. I really don't know what to do, or how to actually go about it, especially while accepting the fact that it may never even be acknowledged.

      @imo.124 thank you for the feedbck and I will pray abt the backlash that I know I will rcv. I was thinking social media may be my only real recourse. I've never done it before and I have a very limiting presence on social media. Howsoever, I am willing.....bc I'm tired!😫

      Me too! Everyday I get the "you look suspicious" long gazing break your neck stares and YT and non-blk feeling brazen enough to check me or undermine me about everything. Im feeling overwhelmed and stressed and on the verge of...risking it all for peace.

    9:19 unfortunately I know of and have experienced for myself that even with a degree it is very difficult to secure a job. And it’s not just me. I came across something on LinkedIn that said over 500 alumni from my college are working at a school district in my community. This is the same school district I’m working for currently and it was the only option for me after I graduated with not one but two degrees. I can’t help but to feel that’s the same reason they are in the district as well. I look at trade school and entrepreneurship so differently now. I used to be so over the top pushing collegiate education to our high schooler, but honestly now I let them decide and support their decision. Because unfortunately job security is not guaranteed just because you have that degree. It’s more so about specific skill sets, certifications, and who you know.

    • @naomim5746
      @naomim5746 6 місяців тому

      Same. My family was big on education. The career I chose required a degree. When I was in college and started getting to know my classmates, several of them had degrees who were unable to get good paying jobs.
      This blew my mind because my family told us that if we got a degree, no matter what it’s in, we would be set.
      It totally changed the way I directed my young children, who are now entering adulthood.

    I literally just had this conversation that Black men don't realize they are leaving Black women uncovered...making all these babies then either not being in the home, going to jail, getting killed due to sketchy lifestyles leaves the Black woman and children left to be attacked...We are perishing due to our ignorance

    I wish the Vice President would’ve said something right then. Not necessarily confrontational but like let me school you that this not ok. Respect the title at least. That’s the problem-a lot of Drew Barrymores set this tone that behavior is ok. I loved this episode!
    Yes-she is the VP among other things. Wish is why I said I wish she would have put her in her place at that moment, i.e. n”not necessarily confrontational…” To Drew Barrymore to respect the title at least. Wish why I said “the Drew Barrymores” setting the tone that this behavior is ok. It’s not.

    So now perspective can't be given? Idk man sometimes I think instead of sitting in what you think may have been one way it's okay to get a different perspective. Two things can be true adults don't like children correcting them and the teacher could've been racist.

    its weird how BF are using all sorts witchcraft and voodoo in naming their own sicknesses and you want men to step up for foolishness with the created drama that might cost him his life. i think men should stand with the righteous women who will keep her man safe by avoiding drama in public, private or at meetings.

  • @DelicatesofLife
    @DelicatesofLife 6 місяців тому

    It doesn't cost 10k though. Amanda was wrong. I don't know why she can't just accept her faults and move forward.

  • @DelicatesofLife
    @DelicatesofLife 6 місяців тому

    Buffie, Amanda never takes accountability for anything. It comes off as she is the victim of all things and no one protects her.....sounds familiar to me

  • @KDMXS3
    @KDMXS3 6 місяців тому

    Monique is a victim just as much as EVERYONE she has chosen to defame and slander. Her continued attacks is not validated because at her own admission, these offenses happened years ago. Amanda, as intelligent as she is, has to be aware there's different perspectives for the same experiences. Shannon apologized for making her feel like he was minimizing her experience which was never his intent but his intent meant nothing to her. What mattered is how she's misunderstood while choosing to misunderstand the explained intent of someone else. The hypocrisy in both of these women are relentless and for Buffy to champion behind it is very telling.
