    Great footage of some beautiful creatures. I loved the mother's communication with the baby via sonar clicks.

    All humans should just leave these animals alone and let them repopulate so when we see them again it will be a spectacular view. as well as the buffalo

      We definite should take care of our oceans better.
      These large whales are friendly to humans. They keep other large predators from developing. An they definitly keep the giant/colossal squid population in check.

    Sperm whales are named for the spermaceti oil (wax) that they produce in the spermaceti organs located in their head.

    Amazing the different body shapes of whales. I wonder what vision looks like for whales with their eyes so far back on their bodies and only looking out to the side of the body? Do they have blind spots in the front and back? Does anyone know?

    • @avatar1867
      @avatar1867 4 роки тому

      They definitly have blind spots.
      When they swim with humans, they are noted to keep an eye on where the human is. They are also very careful with their fins and tail.
      I believe they understand how fragile smaller creature are compared to them. They even click their sonar quieter.
      However yes, you could sneak up behind a sperm whale. It would also be extremly dangerous. They are terribly powerful. Even their sonar clicks are said to be unfathomable loud of they so desire.
