Your message about fathers with daughters is so true and A1. And I appreciate hearing that too as I’m a woman (a blk woman too) is lucky to have the father i have. He is one of kind and i’m blessed to have a father like him. I love both my parents but people see the bond i have with my father is more solid. Just to give advice to men with daughters from a daughter’s perspective: Just know that giving love, reassurance, honesty, respect, a safe space and protection to your daughters helps build that unbreakable bond with them. My father alone does little things like calls or texts me randomly to see how i’m doing, tells me he loves me and tells me how proud he is of me and of being my father. I do these same things to my father as well. Just those little things alone does so much for me as a daughter. Also keeps me happy, joyed and appreciative that i have a father like him. I will randomly pop up to visit him just to spend time with him just to be with him as i live hours away from him. Men who are fathers need to know how important they are and how they really can shape nearly everything about their children, especially their daughters.
you know, I just realized when you were closing out the video just the beauty of the title (honestly just realizing the layers of meanings this song has) and its that yes it two songs in one but then again (and its reinforced by the solo singing by Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, at the end) its one message that he is releasing some shit that he wants to talk about or wants us to talk about ya know? Getting something off his chest. And, its the duality of having to meet his challengers face to face (the cute ass, and hard ass, verses by his daughter North) AND the pouring of love and blessings for his treasures (his family/children, as Donda, rest in peace, did for him). I mean this is just how I took it this time after the nth time listening 🤪😌💝😭😌
