You will love this wing!!! I fly mine on a 3000mAh 4s battery and get up to 30 minute flights depending on throttle use. On 3s it’s a bit under powered especially on hand launch. On 4s it flys right out of your hand at 75% throttle. It flys like it is on rails!!! I also setup my throttle with a kill switch and a launch flight mode that has 3mm of up trim. So to hand launch I have the kill switch engaged, set the throttle o 75%, launch flight mode on. I just through the wing and as I let go of the wing I flip the kill switch with my finger on the hand holding the radio. She spins up and flys straight away ever time. When I get enough altitude, switch off launch flight mode and enjoy!!!
You are such nice people ! Best wishes to Jim and Karen ( hope I heard right ! ) and a Big Salute to you both ! Oh , the plane looks great, as well ! Have a great weekend, everyone

I see they use a capacitor on their ESC. That's a good idea as it preserves enough power to use the servos should the engine suddenly fail. The caps can still pride enough power to get you down. I am currently working on my hobby room right now. I finally got it back and couldn't be happier right now. I am building a work bench and a new work table that raises and lowers!
Look at Dis 😍. Another Brothers fix today. Great video of a flying wing. I also love the E-flite planes. This Old Man likes them because most of the ones I have fly great slow. Love you guys from North Carolina. ✈️😀💝
I do like those E flight models. They're very easy to setup and are built pretty well. The BNF models are so easy for someone that doesn't want to mess with building and wiring a model from scratch. That module pointed out 15:30 is a remote status LED that lights up different colors and flashes to tell you the modes and status of the flight controller. Unfortunately the BNF Basic doesn't come with a GPS module... the BNF with FPV did. The satellite module Captain Blaz saw is a serial receiver that plugs into the flight controller. You may be able to add the GPS module to your flight controller (Spektrum part number SPMA3173) not sure if you would need to update the firmware or not. The GPS module is for return to home, auto land, and virtual fence.
People really loved the 2 meter and Eflite did as much improvement as possible on this second edition. Those LEd lights are good for the GPS lock on the other FPV version with the flight controller and all. You will love this plane. You know I've pushed you for years to get the 2 meter Opterra. Ha ha. I'll settle for 1.2 meter. I've heard 4 S is easy to launch. Best, my friends.
I was checking the 2m one for so long that I have the problem now to find it. But like you said this 1.2m one will be good for the test and maybe my every day bird until my hand gets better.
You don't want to setup elevon in the radio. The flight controller/receiver will do the elevon mixing. Set up the transmitter as a default wing and elevator. Otherwise you will be scratching you head when testing the control surfaces and the don't behave.
Robert and Blaz, I have 2 of the 2meter Opterra, great flyer. Haven't tried FPV with it yet ! But will this winter. And snowing as I write this, , Maybe time to break out the E Flite Convergence, no hand tossing required! Mike Helfand, and a BIG Snowy SALUTE FROM DRUMMOND ISLAND, Michigan
