Could you do a video on losing weight for short/petite people? I’m 4’11 and my maintenance calories is around 1600. It’s so difficult to see any progress without starving myself.
Exactly right. I follow the rules. 80% diet. 20% exercise. That is it. The diet is actually vary. No one size fits all. Need to find something that works for you and your lifestyle. Stick to the plan is the hard part.

I've started tracking my Lean Mass and Fat Mass when I weigh in each week. I have a sensor scale that give this to me. I'm seeing that I'm losing Fat over the past few weeks and my lean mass is staying constant. Which is fabulous. Thanks for the tips - they are really making sense to me.
So in short form, Working out is just to burn extra energy and to gain muscle and diet is based off of what you eat, So in short form just stick with how hungry you are and grab foods that will fill your stomach until the next meal, Day or week
If you question if you can actually loose this amount of weight. In my experience it’s definitely possible. I’m on day 62 of my own weight loss journey and lost 9 lb which brought me to my target weight. Once i got serious it wasn’t even that difficult. I just didn’t add muscle yet.. so I still have work ahead of me.
Is the calorie meter okay? I am shocked to see that it shows my maintenance calories at 1760 whereas ALL others hover between 23-2500! This difference is HUGE and puts my daily 17-1900 calorie diet into a dustbin that is tossed in a cesspool of faecal-fat! 😢😢😢
Are you losing fat at the higher calorie target? If yes, ignore our calculator and keep using your other target. If not, then other calculators are overestimating your target. They do this if you pick exercise to be higher than sedentary because they don't take into account that our bodies get efficient over time at any movement. For example, studies have found there isn't much of a difference in calorie burn between nomads and desk workers.
That's crazy. Go up. Eat until you are feeling fulfilment and happy. Eat more marco food (quality food) that will sustain your hunger. Eat more protein, for example.
Just eat try and eat nice healthy food. You'd be surprised at how much healthy food you can eat by 1500-1700 caliores just try and aim towards at that what I would do 😊
Eat a balance of carbs in form of grain with much more vegetables, fat and protein. In he beginning our mind tells us oh i am hungry but soon your system will adapt. Keep fiber high. So you feel fuller and doesn't end up having any kind of digestion problems because of a change in diet. A tip is try to avoid drinking calories i.e. sweetened and creamed drinks.
Fiber isn’t on the list! High fiber foods like vegetables and legumes keep me full on fewer calories. Excess protein turns to fat easily and can be over eaten like anything else. Veg and soy protein got the scale moving for me
Where do you get that information about protein? Protein can't make you fat. Unless you eat too much of meats. Legumes got proteins, so is everything else.
@@josephineburke1962 anything beyond our daily calorie budget will make us fat be it pure protein. Because everything has calories. We need to eat a whole foods good fiber diet within our calorie budget with a slight caloric deficit.

Everything you say is right but the cravings itself happens when you eat junk and not Whole Foods. Not saying you go cold turkey but minimizing that helps big time.

Not sure qbout the calculator, sorry. It is no wy to check what is your fat/muscle ratio. I checked as obese while I'm actually quite athletic.
