Sekondi-Takoradi is a city in Ghana comprising the twin cities of Sekondi and Takoradi. It is the capital of Sekondi - Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly and the Western Region of Ghana
this marks my last region in the country on which I have embarked on the journey of touring Ghana for food.

One thing about Takoradi is the unique Fante dialect. No one does it like my tadi folks ❤
They speak like Elmina people.
Elmina people were the first to settle in the Ahanta region.

Worked in Takoradi on and off for many years. Ghana and its people are a shining light in Africa. They are the most genuinely friendly and happy people you will ever meet. One day Ghana will have a tourist industry that does its people justice….it’s worth a visit

Nkanfna is crispy fish that is easy on the pallet bones and all. Fante kenkey 3 types peeled corn ordinary corn and green leaf kenkey. There ie a sugar version more like a snack
Taty! Eieeee all the way to Takoradi 💥💥💥! It is remarkable how you have toured all the regions of Ghana. This is the stuff of legends! Super super well done and what a fantastic job all around! Takoradi given the oil discovery and drilling is bound to see increased economic activity💵💵💵💵! Just praying that some of the economic blessing descends on the average person in that city and region. The warmth of the people came through the lens of the camera, and as always you did a great job in them telling their own story📷. I admire how after UA-cam success and many clips you have never changed and still remaining your true self. Keep the content rolling as we view them all even when we cannot comment! Tatiana Ahay is different from Asana. the Asana is much darker and ahay is much more brown in colour. technically ahay is having a taste like malt. I personally prefer the ahay more than Asana. nice video. you need to try Akyeke also.

@@TatianaHaina they usually use it for occasions in most places unlike Asana or ekudemi. Ahay is so lovely. but you must try Akyeke, and the fomfom is also best with 1man thousand. Like they do in the Volta region. but they do regular fish in western region. you should also get the fried octopus, squid and more. I hope you will visit Axim also. I love Takoradi. they speak Fante with street terms and slang unlike Cape Coast Fante. Like to eat, the say meretwe or motwe (I am pulling). I am going (m3 hy3 ho/ mere bodo) or to go abroad (bordo).
But the beauty in Akan language is whichever one you speak they understand you. Even the Ahanta and Nzema language can easily be understood if you listen carefully though they are different but it's also Akan.
