I just got back from there. It is so expensive there now ! Best travel tip if you go down past jaco on the way to hermosa beach stop at empanada argentina they are a small shop on the side of the road. Best empanadas in the world
Where you on the hill or down on the beach?. In the 80's we would go down each year and rent a cabin on the beach for a month. They were rustic but real Costa Rican. We paid $7.00 US dollars per day. Beer was 75 cents....rum even cheaper. This was of course before tourists and investors found this pristine piece of heaven. Like everything else, tourists wreak the place....prices go up....the Ticos might be making money but they are not the happy people they used to be. We made many Costa Ricans friends and loved the time we spent. Our friends from around the world would meet at the same time. We found such a difference the last time we visited in the latter part of the 90's. I am talking only now about Manuel Antonio and Quepos.
i rent a beautiful one bedroom apartment with ac/ hot water and washer and dryer for $800 in the middle of Manual Antonio. My wife and I have been here for two months now and live very comfortable on $1400.00 a month with out a car. You can get a nice lace in Quepos for about $500.00 a month and go to the beach everyday for about a dollar round trip on the bus. Salina hostel is very nice my place is a lot nicer.
Headed to Manuel Antonio in April. We are spending most of our money on the hotel. I wished we would have booked an AirBnB BUT we are also visiting during the "dry season" so hotel costs go up drastically! Nevertheless, I cannot wait. !!!
Hi I'm new to your site. I just found it today I've been watching And enjoying them. I would like to see more ones like this where the cost is broke down because I would love to go to costa rica bye for now
Now that the world is opening up, Costa Rica is on our list! Thanks for the information!

Beautiful place, that Selina where you stayed, but costly for sure.
Coming over for 3 months and do you know if I can work for cash? possible bartending or painting? Thanks
Great video! Leaving to Costa Rica in a couple weeks and i am so excited ! is it best to bring CRC with me or USD?
So exciting! I would recommend taking out cash at an ATM when you arrive. You’ll get the best exchange rate that way

What restaurant has that amazing view?
El Avion!
M8 is paying 850 dollars per week and not working, that is fabulous 🎉
I didnt pick up everything. Had to watch twice. Talk too fast.
Great video, otherwise.
Sorryyyy I do that sometimes 😅
@@CrosbyGraceTravels Still awesome.
Great channel. You work hard.
Thanks
@@markreynolds9570 thank you!
talks way to fast, thought iwas back in california with the valley girl days
So painful for someone to be in Costa Rica and not even be able to pronounce the name of the country you're visiting.
Have you ever considered cheating or perhaps leaving your bf? You are like 40 levels above him, at the very least 😁😁
ouch! you really think so :(
@@DylanGorman gotta give her ideas you know
Lived in CR for 13 years never became a cheater like everyone else down there was.
@@DylanGorman No worries, it’s probably someone from CR asking. It’s in their culture to cheat.
