You saved my sanity with all your investigations. I may have spent considerable time trying to figure this all out, as everything else in the Tusk kit worked 100%. Your suggestions made it a breeze and it worked flawlessly. This worked perfectly on my 2015 KTM 500XC-W. Thanks and be safe.

I’m not sure why Tusk made this so difficult, especially when the rest of the kit is great. I’m having the same issue with my 2005 KTM 450 EXC. After watching several of these videos there are certainly ways to do this. But it sucks to have to hack into the existing wiring. Mine has a stock headlight so it shouldn’t be that hard. I’m just continuing to research so I can hopefully do this once…Great number plate, BTW!

Best way is hook it all up to your Switched Ign. Its usually the Black and Yellow wire going into your Cdi

What if my bike didn’t come with an existing headlight? Also how did you connect the black wire to the battery?
