around 18:26 Dave made Arron discard his card when Arron had a handmaid down just wanted to point out that he couldn't do that in case anyone else was confused by that move
This is a game we use to introduce friends into non standard games....the looks we get when we tell them it's 16 cards and super fun is classic.....once they play they are hooked! Great job all!
interesting that this video has made Love Letter seem like a fun game - having seen Tabletop and other videos I just never got the appeal of the game...now it seems kind of fun
You should play this game again, as it's nearly a decade ago when you made this video (at time of writing). Maybe try one of the themed variations like Batman? :-)
Thanks for the video. This game is a lot of fun. I also lower the required number of tokens to win because I think the game goes on a little too long sometimes. I found a small mistake... At 18:28, Aaron shouldn't have had the Prince played on him. He was still protected by the Handmade.
Once you get used to the game, one round should last about a minute. This means a 4 player game should never take longer than 15 minutes when playing to 4 points. If that is too long for you, you might have other problems. :)
The Hobbit version is really good- as well as the knock the lowest out, there's a knock the highest out (also worth 3), and the one ring, which is a 0 with no effect until the end of the game, when it becomes a 7. Even with only two players it's a laugh.
That Venn diagram is invalid isn't it? You can't have "Music I used to like" included in "Music I like", the two things are not compatible. In this example, Set A "Music I like" and set B "Music you like" means that the intersection of the two sets would be "Music we both like". I get that it's supposed to be a joke, but it's just not correct.
Paulxl ***** Yes, it is a joke, it's just that a Venn diagram doesn't work the way it's shown. Whoever made it simply got it wrong, but I understand what they were trying to convey.
My poor friends, I would always go first playing this game since it's based off of who last went on a date. And I don't even date as often as I'd like to; in this group it would probably be a toss up between me and Aaron on who would go first.

I loved Dave's excitement winning the round around the 16:00 mark. ha ha
Nikki, please protect your hand :-) Aaron is always peeking haha
"Who is the last player to have been on a date?" That's a pretty rough question for a bunch of gamers.
There's always the one couple that's been together for ages though, at least in the circles I run in.
Lincoln's shirt ROCKS!!!
What a fun game group to watch! Thank you for making these videos :)
Nikkie is such a good sport for playing this game, I have a lot of friends who would never play a game that they werent 100 % invested in..

Amazing game.
Played it 100000 times and it never gets old!
Seriously???????

Love these videos.Keep up the good work!
My four favorite people for game night!!!

My brother got me this for a Christmas gift it's really fun
I don't think Lincoln has lost a non-coop game in all the videos I've watched so far.

Awesome shirt Nikki! I always find myself being that way when it comes to music. :D
I have that shirt Its from IT Crowd I believe Season 4 ep 1
It’s like nikki doesn’t think before her move. I watched a lot of these videos and she has no strategy at all

Sure you can.

Lufferov The T-shirt says "Music I like / Music you like".

It's from The IT Crowd
Question: Other than you, who really cares? Answer: Not the rest of us.
I want Lincoln's shirt!
Worst game ever to play in a room with a mirrored wall...?
Best comment @ 20:28.
whose fight stick is that?
Does Nikki ever enjoy playing games just a little?
Nikki is not good with strategic games...
"It was racist and sexist whatever it meant" lol! 26:30
i love nikki's hair :3

If I have correctly interpreted some of the remarks made in earlier episodes, Nikki and Lincoln are married to each other.
when comparing hands with baron card, you should not show the losers hand
13shivan am very late but actually all discarded cards are discarded face up.
Seinfeld plays love letter
Nikki I love you but, in some games you are not very good and they destroy you. Lol.
Shes always miserable and she never understands the rules. Don't know why she bothers!
Mr3cheeses huh, I don't think she's miserable, you are reading too much into it. And she usually does get the rules as well, forget never...
