HH Glass crash for sure, really nice, clean crash. Zen china sounds great, AAX sound control crash sounds good too, didn't really get to hear the HHX Groove control ride much! Have to say the Aero crashes did not tickle my ear drums at all, sorry!
So I was at PASIC yesterday, and I tried all of these cymbals. This is what I think: 1. HHX Click Hats 2. HHX Zen China 3. HH Glass Crash 4. AAX Stadium Ride 5. AAX Air Splash (10) 6. AAX Air Splash (8) 7. HHX Groove Control Ride 8. AAX Sound Control Crash 9. AAX Aero Crash (20) 10. AAX Aero Crash (18) 11. HHX Compression Hats 12. Vault Stacked Hats (I hated these)
Those aero crashes are amazing, especially the 20". Not so keen on the vault stacked hats - they sound like trash lids. I wish I had endless money and time to have a few different kits in a sound proof room in my house.
I guess he tried making his kit and cymbal setup proportionate to his big kit: 4 piece kit = still a bunch of cymbals lol. not a bad thing, kinda funny though to see that many cymbals
Terry Bozzio is such an unconventional drummer. You can tell so easily that his playing is influenced by a really wide range of music. Love it.
It’s cute watching terry play a 4 piece kit
Bozzio is such an amazing player.
Funny thing about great drummers; they can play great on any kit.
This is a nice setup to hear Terry Bozzio play on.
Thank you Sabian, for not making a music track for these demos, and allowing us to hear the cymbals. Which, I might add, sound great!
Terry looks comfortable on this kit :)
no one played like terry. amazing. exotic! keep it up sir
Terry Bozzio is just so damn incredible
HH Glass crash for sure, really nice, clean crash.
Zen china sounds great, AAX sound control crash sounds good too, didn't really get to hear the HHX Groove control ride much!
Have to say the Aero crashes did not tickle my ear drums at all, sorry!
I wish he would use cymbals like this.
the click hats are awesome, and also the glass crash. those are the best.
I'm a fan of the Compression and the Stacked Hats, the Zen China, and that HHX Aero Crash
@Davemancoop a lot of it is to do with the snares being off; nothing pushing against the reso head. And the snare probably cost a good bit

nunca le quitas la costumbre a ese tipo!!!
Only Terry could have tested all 12 of those cymbals that well.

Very good!
AAx Sound control crash, zen china and groove control ride! Maybe stacked hats.
Still an awesome drummer.
compression hats, zen china, 18 and 20 aero crashes, both splashes. those r the best out of all of these cymbals
All cymbal demos should be done with everything else blacked out, that really is very helpful. I hope that catches on.
aero crash and the stack are pretty awesome
What are those tom heads, ive never seen them at a store
i really want the zen china and both the aero crashes
Those are the stock heads for all DW kits.
Thos hi hats are AMAZING
i have never found the word "crisp" appropriate for any cymbals, until today. HHX Compression Hats
Great video, except I don't think Bozzio hit the Click Hats a single time. At least, I haven't been able to spot when it happens.
I think you can find the new electronic sounds of future music, they sound cool for some experimental/trippy music, who thinks the same?...
it the open snare sound I love on this vid and the new aero crashes
I don't think he ever hits the 21" groove control ride.
I WANT IT ALL!!!!! :D
haha who would thought bozio actually can stil rip a legit kit! beastinnn
@kingpin8393 hell yes brother lol. NEED those for my prog metal band.
and i want it now! :)
Awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
How come Terry bozio doesn't use the snare for a snare drum nothing wrong with that but why
joshua estrada Probably because he prefers a more Latin sound and to make it fit more with his toms when he plays.
I guess he tried making his kit and cymbal setup proportionate to his big kit: 4 piece kit = still a bunch of cymbals lol. not a bad thing, kinda funny though to see that many cymbals
Stadium ride
HH Glass Crash and AAX Sound Control Crash.
18'" HHX Aero Crash for me.
It's a shame really, cos I'm gonna vote for some of these, but chances are I'll never actually end up owning or even playing one.
ALL NICE... zen china and HH glass crash for me... aeros too
damn it terry. wish you turned on ur snare. i wanna hear you make that thing crackle!
compression hats FTW
on a four piece kit
that fucking zen china...oh my god
only terry
In that entire demo..he did not his the bow of the ride..one time.
zen china and stacked hats
aero!
Zen China and HH Glass Crash.
aax stadium ride
i dont think he used the click hihats those look interesting
disliked because of that st anger snare
snare without wires is used in particular style of music
One example Can be world music
This is the most basic thing I have ever heard him play....
never liked Terry... but the cymbals are cool
