in the future you cn get an airtight container to hold it and leave it overnight that way you can come back in the morning ans see if it separated or not that way you could fix it in the morning and would not loose the lip gloss tubes! great video
Thank you for this video! I’m made hundreds of lip gloss, but I never had that happen until yesterday. I thought i was going to have to throw it away! Thank you. NowO can do this fix!! YOU ROCK for sharing this!
For everyone so still asking questions allow me to break it down a bit differently. Versagel is VERY viscous (thick) oils are much lighter, even with the addition of glitters and pigments. If you over saturate the gel with the oil the mixture will break and settle. Adding the extra versagel will “hold” the excess oils and pigment and keep the gloss blended
Very very helpful. I am having this problem. I really thought it was because there was too much oil. You’ve confirmed. Thanks so much. You just got a new subscriber.
That's what I thought I was putting too much oil because my chocolate brown lipgloss I made was thicker than another one I made and it did not separate so this is a good tip and thank you for sharing and it also makes it show up better on your lips! I like that you're not the type of person that says I figure this out but I'm not going to tell nobody my secret, to me we should all help each other and if I figure out some type of a good tip that will help I share it with other people too! Have a nice day and I wish you nothing but the best for your small business! 😆🌼💜🌸😉
Hi, my sister and I are currently running a online small business and some of our lipglosses keep separating after a while. I try my best not to put too much oils and add more lipgloss base, but the lipgloss keeps separating no matter what I do.
Thank you so much girl. I’m having a similar problem. I made some lip oils, and I added just a bit of tkb versagel. But the versagel ended up separating from the oils, like in chunks. And i just shake the little container, and everything mixes up alright. But I don’t like much how it looks. When it separates. 🤷🏻♀️
Is this the same for glitter? I made glosses and the mica isn’t separating but the glitter is settling at the bottom of the tube? Not all of the glitter but the majority
I love you for this video I was home making lip glosses and my first batch was popping than I went back to do the next color the next month later I ran into this problem i waste all my product I made
Just so you know for future videos I turn my phone all the way up and I could still barely hear you and I don't want your videos to keep doing that cuz then people might not want to watch them and I would want someone to tell me! By the way thank you for sharing, I appreciate it cuz I really need to know how to stop my pigments from separating after I make the glosses. They will be beautiful when I do them and then after a few days or so I will notice that they're not so pigments head and some of the pigment it's on the side that was facing down the way they were sitting like it settled to the bottom! I made three different color lip glosses with the same amount of oils and everything except one was pink, one was burgundy and one was chocolate brown and I use the same brand pigments and everything and the pink separated the most I'm the burgundy did a tiny bit in some of the tubes and the chocolate brown didn't separate at all so I couldn't figure out what I did wrong unless I just didn't mix them properly which I feel I miss them very well so I don't know and I even let them sit in a container until the next morning and stirred them up really good again and then put them in my tubes and it does mix it better and you can definitely tell by how it looks, it just looked more solid like everything was mixed really well! I'm sorry I wrote so much and went into all this but I just like to share stuff with others because that's how I learned so I hope you don't mind! 💜🍷🌸😆👄👝🍭💗🍫👠💄😉🌼🍹💙
Desiraye::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: I bought some TKB Versa Gel and made some cute gloss......HOWEVER, it just bleeds off the lips. What did I do wrong??? Thanks! I really enjoy your videos!
Yes, the glitter sinks because the base is too thin. Either reduce the glitter or add more versagel. I recommend 1 tbsp at a time because it will reduce the pigment the more you add.
A very old video but I use to much oil with lipgloss base how can I fix this ? People tell me Vaseline/candillawax/ lanoline wich one should I use ! I made a big big batch with a formule but its ruined😢😢😢😢
Hi! Thank you so much for this! I do have a question. So I've made a nude gloss. But to get it pigmented I added white 1st. Then the nude. I didn't add too much white cuz I've ruined a lot of product by adding too much. But this time I didn't add too much. And with the oils I also didn't add too much. And I've added sp much more gloss base just I case I did over do it with the oils. But I still see a lighter color and a darker color separated from my gloss. Please help me fix this
Hello! I just wanted to message you really quickly, because I too am starting my own lip gloss line. I too and having the same issues, but whenever I add more versa gel(1 use the same one as you) it gets to gloppy, and when I open and close my mouth it does that things(I don’t know what it’s called) and I don’t know how to fix that problem. Also what is the name of the pigment you use to color your lipglosses? I have only found mica powder, and I don’t know what the lipgloss pigments are called, and advice helps! And I wish you the very best and success in your business!💖🙏🏼
what do you do if your oil in the lipgloss is like separating cuz mine when i swatched the lipgloss in my lips the oil was in my lips and the base with the pigment and glitter were coming off like it won’t mix together well what should I do??

You might have too much oil in them, when you say bleed do you mean it’s running off of your lips?
Thank you so much! This was very helpful
THANK YOU!!!! Is that also the same problem with glitter??? My glitter separated and its all on the very bottom of my tubes :( Please help

Does this work for glitter too?

You are most likely adding too much versagel. Do a small amount at a time. And I make my pigments
Can pigment/glitter separate from oils used in lip oils? If so, how do we fix it?
Life saver, God bless you
Where was this when I needed it 😢. I threw away so much product because I didn’t know how to fix it 🤦🏾♀️
Very helpful 💕 can’t wait to try it
Thank you that really help me save my product
Good job love
I put glitter, and my glitter was separating! I used cosmetic grade glitter! Do I do the same thing?
SAME ! I have been trying to find a solution
Have you found a solution yet?
@@tramainebell can you make a yt video showing how you use it b/c I'm still unsure. thanks
my iphone I just put less glitter and it turned out fine the next time
@@jalynnnicole1339 less glitter? :( i want it to be glittery but its sinking to the bottom of the tubes :(
thank you SO MUCH FOR THIS!!!
OMG I could kiss you!!!! I’ve been searching this for 1 month
I don't know why my lip oil keep seperating from my oils
what do you do if your oil in the lipgloss is like separating cuz mine when i swatched the lipgloss in my lips the oil was in my lips and the base with the pigment and glitter were coming off like it won’t mix together well what should I do??
Add more base (versagel)
My peach color is doing this 😩 I hope this helps
oh my goodness a life saver!!!!
For some reason more versa gel takes away the pigment, it’ll go on clearer 😭
try adding titanium dioxide i think. so it will be opaque
Thank you. I was looking for a solution...
No problem I just had to share this tea cause I was looking all over YT and couldn’t find the answer 😩😩
Desiraye I do have another question. Have you ever had a new versagel base and it becomes bubbly and foamy?
Thank you very much!!!!
THANK YOU BABE. An angel
Thank you so much
This video was very helpful 😍
Thank you I’m glad it helped
wouldn't the extra versa gel just make it more sticky ?
No it doesn’t make it sticky at all
Thank you!
Super helpful
Thank you
you're a damn angel omg
Honestly people need to measure you can’t have thin runny lipgloss and expect it to be pigmented. Or not to separate
Well some people are beginners and don’t have the measurements down so this will fix it ☺️
👍👍👍👍
By the way it’s hard to hear u
Thank you
