My sister and I are coming to Oahu May 1, 2023 for 15 days and we booked at the Twin Fin (formerly The Aston). They wave the resort fee for extended stays which is significant! Question.....we will be heading to Oahu in November of this year. I have been going through your videos and we are enjoying them! Great work! Anyhow, at this Hyatt or the Marriot or any hotel that isn't immediately on the beach, can you hear the ocean waves from most rooms? I love Hawaii and sleep so well there, especially when I can hear the waves crashing. I would love for my kids to experience the sound of the ocean through the night. Thank you!
I think it depends on which direction the room is facing & how high - if it's mountain facing, probably not so much. It's possible I think it's unlikely as the sound of the traffic from Kalakaua Ave would probably overlap it.
We stayed at this property and loved it. We will be coming back in February and staying at the Royal Hawaiian. The Shor restaurant doesn’t serve breakfast anymore? We met a lovely waitress named Lisa and was hoping to see her again. Great videos we enjoyed them.

@@YestoHawaii the ground vibrations didn't break the bulb's filament outright, but the vibrations gradually loosened the bulb in the light socket and the rattling bulb broke the filament. Retightening the bulb resolved it.
Thanks for the feedback! 😊 On the bottom RIGHT side, there should be a box for "CC". Just to the RIGHT of that is a "Gear" symbol. If you click the "Gear" symbol, the 2nd option is "Playback Speed." It should be automatically set to "Normal." You can make the Playback speed more slow by changing it to 0.25, 0.5, or 0.75. Hope that helps!

When they were pile driving for the foundation musta shook the ground so much that light bulbs didn't last as long as they should. Filament bulbs.
