Citrus prefers a Nitrogen Phosphorus Potassium ratio of 2-1-1 in clouding micronutrients. A typical citrus fertilizer for sale could be; NPK listed like this. 8-4-4 or 6-3-3 or 10-5-5
I also purchased mine from Costco (I’m in Seattle zone 8b)! Very healthy trees. One question, do you plan on removing the stakes when you repot? I’ve ask around and people have recommended I remove it, but my tree is pretty thin up top and I’m scared it’ll be too top-heavy. Any advice? Thanks!
Keep the guide until it is strong. I don't think it will harm it. I made the mistake of not replacing one with a taller one when a tree of mine outgrew it. It started bending over on a windy day. I also have children that throw balls around.
I bought a SMALL one for like 22 bucks .. so I need to get that soulfate stuff? and just sprinkle it at the base of the tree? I have it indoors now , watered it and put it under my grow light i have .. i think I shouldn't water it again for a while right? until its 3 inches dry with the poke test ?
@@MrEddie68000 ok thanks. I have it under a grow light . Small slender quart sized container. The top is still moist right now. I just have know when to water it and fertilize it. Fertilize it soon as I got it home?
@@e_thegod5303 i would fetilize before spring and after the tree flowers and or fruits are all done. Water as needed depending on when it drys. Since the pot is small, put your pinky about an inch and see if it needs water. You may news tobfertilize more often. Look it up on google to get a better idea. The sheet that is in the video gives better detail too.
Which State are you in? Bec of this video, I bought Costco membership tonight. Dang, they don't deliver citrus to TX! I'll have to go check their warehouse near me.
Love that lemon tree, especially
Price and tree is 100 times better then most others, i hope shipping is not too much. I wonder if costco have a three in one citrus?
looks better than the one I bought for 12 dollars in my city in Chile -_-

Yes about the watering. I have a video on watering. The fertilizer should not touch the trunk. Sprinkle it around it.
