It should be an awesome option! My fingers are crossed that they can deliver on the timeframe and the pricing they announced. We are still 2 years away.

Starting at $45,000 . Low mileage version. I’m sure nicely equipped $60k plus. EVs need to achieve 425 miles @$45,000 to get world attention

@@leprechaunbutreallyjustamidgetif Rivian's were that good why aren't they as good & popular as Tesla cars? & Why aren't they winning in comparisons? Why are they launching 3 new cars instead of figuring out their expenses & manufacturing better beforehand? Rivian has the priorities gamesense of a teenage daughter & it doesn't seem like it's changing as they seem to be real hard heads that won't listen

@@ronwrites510 ahh 3rd row. kia Ev9? not really as long as an escalade though. no ev will be built like that for a while. not really an efficient design. Cybertruck is the longest ev right now (I think) no 3 row though. In China there's stuff like the xpeng x9 but won't be in north America for a long time
The problem is they want to offer a RWD 270 mile SUV for $45000 in 2 years. That's already barely competitive with a MYLR - and you'd have to be a moron to think that Tesla won't continue to improve the Model Y between now and then with a refresh. Hopefully Rivian overdelivers, otherwise they are attempting to charge a premium for their brand and they aren't in a position to do so.
everyone who choses non Tesla Evs stick with em. there are plenty who go from a Tesla to something that's not and prefer it. Tesla owners end up just moving on to a better car in general give it a few years
