Just do some gussets. Or weld in nuts for the winch. then box it in lots of options to improve it

Wondering how you're liking this bumper a year later and also wondering if it will fit a M15000 Warn winch (forward-mounted vs. bottom)

So I'm wonder on the bottom where you had the gap could you have heated that bend and bent it up to the winch Plat and then welded ?
