holy shit i didn't know elemental heavy bows were good. Sure this one has very good raw too but still... + omg a perfect talisman :o i really need this one
The arena gloves X (I forget the actual name) works. Very annoying to craft/upgrade though because they need the various arena coins/tickets to do so though.
@@miguelangelasensio6640hi. if you mean at exactly 0:43 it's simply valor mode built-in skill. when sheathing your weapon, press y to do a special valor attack which allows you to build up your valor gauge. if you mean the skill used a few seconds later, it's again simply the auto avoid built in skill from valor mode.
I think the mantis bow is the strongest in the game with its level 5 rapid being a level 5 charge shot, but the heavy bow’d damage is close, and the staggers can make its run’s go much faster depending on how good you are at hitting the same spot
I refuse to use any of the mantis gear because 1) So goddamn better than anything else, dunno wtf capcom we’re thinking... feels like cheating. 2) So goddamn ugly. Doesn’t fit the game or the boss it is made out of. Like the stupid golden guns in shooters. Urgh.
They arent better than everything tho... theyre easy as fuck to make good sets sure but a lot of the mantis weps get beaten by other monster based weps...
i use guns a lot in mhw and i like bow since how relentless, cool and swift it is since you need to keep close your distance to the monsters. seems like bow has huge alteration in mhw, that predicting bow line is a bit too much for me lol. i always prefer simple weapons to use like GS, sns and bowguns, never like insect glaives with its kinsect, cb with tons of input or DB with its thousand cuts (i cant see whats going on on the screen), i think i will skip bow for good in this game.

May i ask, why are alot of bow runs with heavy shot? I know cause of the part break and the flinch, but is there any other reason? It looks pretty fun
The flinch basically gives you free dp’s
It is also a fun, challenging and unique way to use a ranged weapon.

the charge 4 on that bow is also a heavy shot and because it makes on average 2/3 of his shots benefit from charge 4 bonus

That bow line its just becouse of heavy shot (rapid, spread, pierce and heavy are types of shot in this game)
