He also didn’t get accused of “sexual assault”, it was claims of Sexual Harassment.
Sexual Harassment has a different definition in Korean law. It is considered a sex crime without physical touch. An Indecent Act is groping.
In Korea Sexual Harassment in itself is not a crime, but when done against children, publicly or in the workplace it is.

    Here’s what actually happened:
His name is Park Dae Sung, a 30 year old, South Korean, mixed martial artists.
The first incident happened in May 2016 during Xiaomi Road FC 036, the second in February 2017.
It’s not the same girl in both clips. The girl in the first clip is Choi Seol-hwa, a South Korean fitness model and influencer. She was acting as a special step in Road girl in the place of an official Race girl.
During the 2016 fight, Park Dae Sung was criticised by some netizens for his grabbing of Choi Seol-hwa by the waist.
After the incident she defended him saying “I hope no harm comes to Park Dae Sung”, she declined pressing charges. She explains that she was startled but did not feel uncomfortable.
Park Dae Sung waited after the match to meet her in the waiting room to resolve the misunderstanding. Unfortunately the meeting didn’t happen but they did meet soon after and he appologised to Choi Seol-hwa. They took a photo together that she posted on Instagram to show no bad blood. In the photo she has her thumb up and talked about how hard he has worked without resting. She continued to say “I look forward to good performances in the future,” and “I hope that your dream of becoming a champion will come true.”
Park Dae Sung stated that his actions were a mistake, saying, "It was my fault. I am truly sorry to Choi Seol-hwa." “I was in a really good mood (after winning), and I guess I exerted force without realizing it because I was so excited.”

Here’s what really happened with all the facts:
Park Dae Sung admitted that his actions were a mistake, saying, "It was my fault. I am truly sorry to Choi Seol-hwa." “I was in a really good mood (after winning), and I guess I exerted force without realizing it because I was so excited.”
Choi Seol-hwa received criticism from netizens after she posted the photo on Instagram for not being professional as a Road girl.
Despite Choi Seol-hwa accepting his apology, Road FC issued him with community service. He got no legal charges against him.
Many people came to his defence. Following the incident, he gained a large fan base and a tone of support. He later got signed to One Championship.

What's the difference between sexual harassment and indecent acts in Korea please explain

    • @JamDodger-tn7mm
      @JamDodger-tn7mm Рік тому +151

@@Pohlmaster Yeah, there are many lies and misinformation in the comments. People falsely say it was the same woman and that he was charged, sued and/or fined.
They say that he was accused of assault, instead of harassment. Also they don’t acknowledge that sexual harassment is considered a sexual crime without physical contact in Korea. It’s more about how the victim felt and not so much the actions of the perpetrator.
So when Korean people claimed that he sexually harassed her they where referring to humiliating, embarrassing, making her uncomfortable etc.
7 years later the video has resurfaced and western people have completely misunderstood what the original criticism was about.
Critical thinking unfortunately is a rarity when a sad song gets put on a minute video.

      Ephesians‬ ‭6:10‭-‬18 says,
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. The bible is no old book. You have to really let Christ open your eyes; to see the world in shambles. Many people say it's a religion to lock up people in chains, and say it's a rule book.. why? Because people hate hearing the truth, it hurts their flesh, it's hurts their pride, it's exposes on what things have they done..people love this world so much, s*x, money, power, women, supercars.. things of this world. Still trying to find something that can fill that emptiness in your heart. You can't find that in this world.. only in Christ, the bible is no chains, it's a chainbreaker. Breaking your sins into pieces... Repent now, and turn back to the true Lord only.. God bless.❤❤❤❤😊😊😊

But of course the original half-hug was nothing close to assault and was totally appropriate given the circumstance.
I just wish he'd been a little more arrogant and rather than acquiesce to the whiners who accused him the last time, he could have ramped it up and been even more physical with her the next time.
