So one thing I love is the open info exchange of asking an opponent's race and them obliging every time you do it. It's such a small courtesy to respect open info that was lost for reasons outside of the player's control. Are there other forms of this that is common courtesy in WC3, or is it just "the load times are too quick now so we make up for that only."
Funny thing was in the first game Grubby assumed “uhm” stood for “hum”, as if his opponent misspelled the answer. :) Good thing he was actually hum. ))
I vote for planetary annilation too, even as a super bad rts player playing only ai I did have fun trying it for few hundred hours, crashing a moon into an ennemy planet even once is something worth buying the game I feel like.
26:00 it happens from many things not only tetris, it happens to me with many games if I play them a lot It happens to me with charts and chess as well
I've never played W3 multiplayer but for some reason I have already seen like twenty of this guys videos. Could someone explain to me, why he always starts to build the Ancient of Wonders only to cancel it second later and sends the wisp to harvest the lumber again? @20:29
If you want to go more in depth how about explaining why you pick certain heroes and hero abilities? Like Immolation obviously popped off in the first game but it's definitely not what I would have predicted. Why choose it?
Hey Grubby i had a question do you have any idea on why they turned Ballistas into Glaive Throwers? (I always thought because Ballistas belonged to High Elves)
A lot of units were changed in Frozen Throne, in weird ways. Steam Tanks became Siege Engines, Gyrocopters became Flying Machines... Ballistas were simply another one of those. Likely avoided potential copyright issues either at the time or in the future(now).
That chuck guy in chat was so butthurt, he probably lost a game to Grubby. Imagine having the endurance to blame a twitch streamer for smurfing and "actively ruining the game for other players" when he's just playing the game and has no chance due to mr reset. Hilarious.
29:08 sounds like mass talons since you said "talon" lol. even in german it literally sounds like you're saying mass talons. so... my wild guess is..... Mass uprooted AoWs solo hero and definitely ZERO talons, right? right! lololol
23:36 - 23:40 LOL "you are crazy in the head" that's hilarious also you should try the Steam "RTS" top down game that's a Zombie Survival called "They are Billions" - it came out as early release a few years ago for like $9.99 or so, give or take a couple dollars. should be super cheap for you but unlike you i don't have tons of $$ - anyway, if you play on super hard mode stray zombies will wonder into your base EARLY game and unless you protect your tents, (which create workers over time) you will lose 100% of the time. in this game you don't build units except for archers and maines then snipers and i think a couple others LATE LATE game. the whole point is you start off with X amount of resources and last time i looked the starting build order was 3tents or 4 tents, then a lumber mill, then a fisherman thing if your starting base is near water, if not a hunting wildlife watch tower. you have to PLAN OUT your base since certain buildings (esp same kind) have to to be built X squares apart. so you have to look for the most resources for lumber for first camp, same with fish, same with hunting = fish/hunt tower gives food. food = allows more workers tents = create workers over time. each building requires X # of workers to use them mid game ish to late game and on, you get upgrade for farms that allow you to farm a TON of food. barracks is something you want early-mid game to create tons of units. you can also wall around your base with enough lumber and add defense towers that have to be loaded up with archers or marines. you can also scout the map early on to see where some stray resources are but the higher the difficulty the MORE zombies there are on map ultimately. you'll get a stray here and there, but then every X amount of days you will be sent a proper WAVE of zombies that come from specific direction. at same time, there could also be strays hitting at the EXACT Same time at another part of base. so higher difficulty = need walls ASAP. as well as archers in towers to spread out. as well as efficiently get out to the bronze and gold squares on map to build a mining camp. your main building is what you hotkey first and then the starting units into a secondary hotkey since you will be using the main building to build the starting buildings around base. then you also have energy towers and energy batters that you'll need in order to spread out your main base to take more of the map. even on the EASIEST difficulty, if you are distracted for just enough time, 1-2 stray zombies are strong enough to take out a building which depending on what KIND of building also spawns X zombies. so lets saw 2 zombies kill a worker tent; that means you now have something like 4-6 zombies attacking base. typically you want tents together and if zombies GET to ONE and KILL just ONE in the game early enough, that's GG. because all your tents are done and now you're supply blocked.... and have 2 zombies turn into about 15-20 and theres no defending it with just 3.. it can be brutal or it can be slow as hell depending on map and especially depending on the 2 settings. (Difficulty) and (How many waves/Length of game = 50 days hardest, 150 days = easiest) so the shorter the game = exponentially more zombies + waves EVEN FASTER + stray zombies. difficulty = higher HP zombies + more strays / constant stream of strays.
in regards to "critical mass" in terms of people asking you to play X Y Z Game, I doubt many people will suggest this game so chances of you playing it based on how many ppl suggest is? next to none if not completely 0%. in regards to playing "PRO Tetris" - there are psychos out there that play with these little sock like / cloth made finger and thumb attachments... where they have cloth finger socks that go up to the knuckle or 2/3 of thumb as well as finger and they perfect some technique they call "rolling" and... somehow it works to the point or getting oldschool tetris to get to the "LAST LEVEL" in which the game just freezes and its the HIGHEST score possible... imo, those players are a BIT CREEPY in order to wear the finger/thumb socks in order to beat the game and/or get high schools as well as remain relevant involved in the competitive Tetris scene.... so weird.
Grubby: " I am not a pro Gamer on this patch." Well You play on the highest lvl of this game and you earn your money for playing this game right? You just dont play the leauges anymore.
@grubby I noticed something not so long ago when you were focus u always has ur mouth open and now it's ubbber shut how a natural habit can change like that o.o pog
also in Game 2: i have NOT seen a tower rush on TM in MANY MANY YEARS (especially Cross map) back when you could spawn anywhere on map. especially on turtle rock where you could have a 1 in 3 chance to spawn as NEIGHBORS. in HUvsNewbelf it was 99% tower rush... so annoying. hence why blizzard aka activision made maps have a 100% cross map spawn to prevent that strategy from being such a HIGH % of happening, much less an even higher WIN %
Do you know what I think would be a fun joke to do? Say a Dutch phrase, talk whatever, say the English translation, even kind of mindlessly, just to the point of... learn or just observe the languages

From my experience on lower leagues they are random, write "Elf", and after 2 minutes Human builds turrets or Undead rushes with 10 ghouls
3:00 "Little bit of damage", says he, as Daemon Hunter massacres (almost) all the peasants.
" it doesnt hurt that bad"
The hurt: 3:00
23:02 i need this as a clip so i can react to people on discord
@3:40 “that didn’t went like imagined xd” 😹
"Heroes are a resource"
That'd be a honest way of telling history in schools
mass hero loss is the new meta
Dont worry, hero is a ressource
So remember folks, in WC3 "little bit of damage" is roughy about 6-7 of the opponents starting units killed with 1 level 1 hero.
Funny thing was in the first game Grubby assumed “uhm” stood for “hum”, as if his opponent misspelled the answer. :)
Good thing he was actually hum. ))
Oof. I was sooo looking forward to talons cycloning everything.
Great play overall tho!
Loosing two heroes at once...Grubby: It's fine. / Me: Game over.
22:40 when you leave caps on ☠️
I think this is the first time during this NE campaign where Grubby got the base in the south side of the map
27:04
Me remembering Axslav do 3 peasant tower rush with partner. lmao
Feels like watching Warcraft 1 as orc with all the wolf raiders.
I vote for planetary annilation too, even as a super bad rts player playing only ai I did have fun trying it for few hundred hours, crashing a moon into an ennemy planet even once is something worth buying the game I feel like.
PA is such a boring game, there's only 1 faction :/, would look at SpellForce 3, 6 races, hero gameplay, sector capture, it's fresh.
@12:31 how did you tp into base without cool down a then tp back into fight?
26:00 it happens from many things not only tetris, it happens to me with many games if I play them a lot
It happens to me with charts and chess as well
Hi grubby could you elaborate on when and why you get a 2nd and 3rd hero, when is it best to have only 1. 2 or get all 3 thanks
more heroes the better for the casual player usually. high level players can play good with maybe 1-2 heroes.
@stevepwn he did say it depends if you need a high level hero to stay relevant
This game brings back all the nostalgia ❤no one matches ur speed grubby
Grubby es un caballero en toda la extensión de la palabra.
hi grubby, really love the videos, could you add timestamps for each game?
11:40 he could do 2nd mana burn and DK gg
maxecution is now my favorite person you've played against
I've never played W3 multiplayer but for some reason I have already seen like twenty of this guys videos.
Could someone explain to me, why he always starts to build the Ancient of Wonders only to cancel it second later and sends the wisp to harvest the lumber again? @20:29
I play wc3 multiplayer for years and still don't know what that move was, maybe a mistake?
Look at his food limit
extradrone
Can anyone explain how grubby adds units to specific group without having the group pre selected?
Shift + number I think.
Grubby really has a mental block vs orc lol
Hoping we get to see you play some Stormgate as well!
If you want to go more in depth how about explaining why you pick certain heroes and hero abilities? Like Immolation obviously popped off in the first game but it's definitely not what I would have predicted. Why choose it?
Personally it made sense to me to pick immolation if you are planning to face off against peasants in the early game.
Hey Grubby i had a question do you have any idea on why they turned Ballistas into Glaive Throwers? (I always thought because Ballistas belonged to High Elves)

26:50 what's with the bear cosplay? xD
This was so old school
How can i play wc3 nowdays? Its from battle net?
why talons vs raiders?
How much this snakes deal damage for their 30 mana?
also agreed. WC3 RoC/TFT 2vs2 >>>>>>>> Sc2 2v2 by TREMENDOUS, EXPONENTIAL MILES IF NOT INFINITE MILES...
So fast there is no reaction yet.

To make 1 additional wisp
You would be a good doctor in Canada. 💀

Blizzard: Buy slower PC so that you can see what the enemy's race is
Grubbys micro is always soo on point
Heroes are a resource LOL
Raiders vs Talahons lol
I also suffered from the Tetris effect. Not cool
HAHA GOOD VID
Hemorrhoid is not bad news to him. What a tough life; I really struggle with hemorrhoids.
