@T. Nelson of course she does, why wouldn't she?!?! She'd be silly not to, she has to declare her UA-cam earnings as income, so anything she purchases to produce videos (food, costumes, hotel stays, computer equipment, etc) can and should be written off.
The majority of your expenses, excluding rent, are business related, which are all tax deductible. Your personal expenses are not that terrible. Just film whenever you eat out or get food delivered and you can deduct it.
i just looked it up rent can not be deducted on taxes so dont know what he meant that the expenses are reduced this is personal rent norma has/yes norma spends most of what mentioned and some may be deducitrd on taxes i guess she pays soc sec tax for when she is older
Norma seems like a very down-to-Earth content creator, who doesn’t flex, spends reasonably, and doesn’t seem to play it up for the camera. It’s so refreshing to see!
This was a good reaction video. I started to follow Norma a while back before I went to Vegas to visit some family. Her live streams are quite fun to watch if there's nothing else on.
I was thinking the same thing about health insurance. $300 is nothing. I was asking norma where she bought that insurance but she didn't get back to me yet.
Speaking of Vegas… I met Graham at the airport when we were going home. Funny enough, we watched all of Norma’s Vegas videos to plan our trip! Good ol Vegas!

Graham: Vegas is actually really nice What he actually means: No, it's hot and terrible here, Vegas is totally full and not accepting anyone else. Sorry people reading the comments, Vegas is full.
Lol. I live in NY and want to retire to Vegas. But don't worry, what I really want is to be in one of the small towns outside the urban sprawl radiating from the strip. Somewhere where I walk out my back door and just see mountains and desert.
Is it illegal to not have health insurance if we’re 26 or older? Like can’t we just go to the doctor whenever we get sick and pay whatever it costs…like if we pay $300 a month for health insurance but we never go to the doctor…what’s the point of paying for it in the first place…we could save that $300 and spend it elsewhere
@@bigsweep3603 yeah, I don’t like paying taxes because I feel like a majority of my tax paying dollars are going towards the military which we don’t need…the US isn’t under attack yet such a huge budget of our government spending goes towards defense which doesn’t make sense to me
You two are making me realize how far behind I am in this race out here in Las Vegas. It's awesome that you live here too, and I'm going to use this video and your lifestyle as motivation to level up, mature and grow my portfolio. You're right, it is a small city outside of the tourist corridors and the only limitations we set as a population are the ones that exist in our mind.
Graham, did you check out solar with the backup Tesla battery? I keep seeing ads about Biden is giving it away free for a bunch of states and Nevada is one of them.
just a comment about health insurance. I had a catastrophic plan with a 13k deductible. 300 a month however my newborn needed emergency life changing surgery that out of pocket would have cost me over 160,000 dollars for inpatient stay. follow up. and the surgery. We paid the deductible and that was it. it's a crime how expensive these things are but you can lose everything you have over not having insurance . I'd rather Lose my belongings than my son
That's great that you are taking advantage of an attraction where you live. Do you get inundated with family/friends looking for a couch to sleep on while they visit DW or BGs?
@Zanne Izzo since it's Florida, everyone kinda just flies In on their own mosquito whenever they want and grab the closest alligator to sleep on so I have no need for beds. But yes, it's overwhelming. I typically just remove myself from it all, you know. Go out at night and read books under the rainbow rock lights of my F-350 with a 4ft lift
She probably has a high deductible plan. Though if she joins a small business trade association, she can get a member discount on a group health insurance plan offered to members, saving lots of money on premiums and lower deductibles- Graham should do the same.
I love when millionaires who took money from Sam Bankman-Fried and FTX tell “the little people” to drink less Starbucks and make crab legs at home. Her eating out is a business expense and it’s douchey to spend 13 minutes criticizing someone else’s spending habits.
These people and food are insane. My wife and I spent $900 last month and the way I code food spending is anything at the grocery store and eating out. That includes toiletries, OTC medicine, food, cleaning supplies, baby formula, etc. We eat out once in awhile but we cook and re-order the same foods so there is never a deviation in spend. So actual food spend is probably like $700 bucks. And I’m a body builder so is at a lot lol.
Wow that’s really spot on rent guess 🎉 Haha I swear my eating it costs isn’t just for crab, it’s for going out too

The electricity costs in Sweden has gone up A LOT recently also, our inflation was at like 12% in December or something overall

No. There’s only a few states now that will fine you for not obtaining private health insurance, but it’s not “illegal”.
