Wilson Disease Association 2016 Conference Highlights

The Wilson Disease Association invites patients, caregivers and researchers from around the world to its annual conferences. This one was held in Orlando, Florida. One of the attendees was Alan Rodriguez who was diagnosed with Wilson disease as he was about to begin college. It took months for him to get the correct diagnosis for his perplexing neurological symptoms. Finally, with the right diagnosis he could begin treatment, but it made his symptoms worse. Alan worked hard to regain the function he lost and today he works as a photographer. Through the lens of his camera, Alan captured the people who came together at the WDA Conference in 2016.
