Fuzzy, if you beat challenge you unlock more characters, stadiums, and you can play games at night time. Challenge will also help you improve at the game by teaching you the buddy throw, buddy jump, and how the chemistry feature works. I would definitely recommend doing a series where you play the challenge mode.
