Lauren is very intelligent, well spoken, and mature. Love it. So many people these days can’t speak properly or with intelligence, so she is like a breath of fresh air.
Thank you so much! :) :)
1:10 I control the volume much more comfortably directly from the buttons on the steering and without moving my hand from the steering (which is also safer!).
yeah ive noticed gesture controls turn out to be more of a party trick than anything lol! still awesome tho
I just picked up my new X7. I love this feature. No one told me about the sensor at the top...thanks Lauren!
It actually works great! Every car reviewer I've seen on UA-cam seems to not know how to properly do it. Then they complain that it doesn't work well.
It does work well! Just like the hands free trunk operation, if people do specifically how BMW says instead of one's own version of it....I especially love when I'm explaining it to people to the T and they do something else :D :D :P
@@Bmwlauren That has to be super frustrating 😂😂
@@PGJoel96 Ha yes, that's always how it is, just like with the hands free trunk, I specifically tell them the swinging/left right foot motion doesn't work. Then they do it anyway and get upset that it's not working!
A lot of BMW driver's seem to use gestures at other driver's already ...
😂😂😂 true, especially here in LA!
@@Bmwlauren LOL. I live in LA and people are texting and almost crash into me in my lane and I honk and then they flip me off. So funny!
@@markmongo44 I live in LA too and the amount of stupidity you see on the road is beyond astonishing. Driving isn't important to people, neither is the safety of others (let alone themselves). The best part is, no one can be told they're wrong!
Loving this series Scott Wish we had Lauren in the uk 🇬🇧 our loss ☹️ your gain 😊
:)
Just picked up a 2021 X5 and it is easily one of the best vehicle I’ve ever owned.
Been trying to work out how to use this in my new 8 Series. Thanks Lauren.
I use this most for the volume and it’s great
It would be really nice if you could review an X5 M50i.. That car is going to fill a great spot in the lineup and I'd love to see your coverage of it please...
Love it 😍 x5 N x7 yeah 🤗
The two fingered mute gesture is great, however on the G11 7 series this was programmed by the factory for the next track I believe. I obviously changed it but other people won’t realise. Hopefully it’s now set to this as standard now on their newer vehicles.
BMWs are great but Lauren is why we always click on these videos
Can the BMW gesture a heart sign too ? lol lots of love to your channel! awesome content so helpful always!
Lauren is always sitting there...
As much as I appreciate Lauren's tutorial, I find this whole concept unnecessarily gimmicky.
It's more of a "wow that's cool/crazy" than, are you really going to use it? I use the buttons on the steering wheel....as I'm sure most people do :D
David Wolf This is your misguided opinion. It’s a 100,000 dollar large SUV competing with Mercedes, Land Rover, Porsche and the new Escalade. The competition is heated, these vehicles are all technologically advanced, thus none of this technology is “unnecessary.” Furthermore, people paying 100,000 dollars plus expect features that you aren’t going to find in a 27,000 dollar RAV4.
