They're not official, and that is why they never will be. Think about it: if everyone in the world made a good, enjoyable parody of the same character in their spare time, would you say they've all been the voice of this character?

seeing as pretty much most people recognize them as voice of the characters more than 80% of the "official" voice actors then I say it's counts. Also technically many of them did voice some of the the characters in an Episode of Dragon Ball Z Kai when they voiced the reenactment actors of the cell games

Hell yeah! I got into DBZ right around the Android Saga. The "I don't give a shit" attitude and managing to stay calm usually right up until the shit hits the fan demeanor is why she and 17 are my favorites.
It's like they don't care about all the trivial stuff that all the others love so much.

Its kinda weird Meredith's actual voice sounds more girly. Shows how talented she is crazy how she was fujko,Yusuke's mom,Maria in FMA,Launch and Krillin and 18s daughter(Even in GT)

I know it's unofficial, but I really really adore Amber Lee Connors' portrayal of 18. She brings the most heart and soul to the character and sounds the most natural.

Ocean dub is the orignal dub for dragon ball. Funimation were just copying the actors.
@@OidBuddy that was only until the Freeza arc. After that Funimation took over and Ocean didn't finish their dub until later.

Enuka and Meredith sound so similar
Meredith is the best actor in both voice and attractiveness.
Miki ito and Meredith Mccoy are easily 2 of the best choices for 18.
I like the funimation dub voice for 18 because from the manga it brings a strong rebelling aspect to her character that gives 18 a real sexy rawness to her from her teens onwards along with that coldness which is badass but is convey well in comparison with the manga.
I personally would kept her on in Kai rather than switch her.

There’s an important part we missed here for Colleen. In the Final Chapters Kai, her voice performance is far more closer to Meredith’s than in the Android to Cell sagas higher pitch performance.

I have no idea why they changed voices in kai, why give 18 a Beverly Hills girl voice when she has somewhat of a tomboy attitude.
My opinions of the English voices...
Meredith McCoy's voice fits 18 the best. Enuka Okuma sounds damn-near identical to McCoy. Jennifer Bain's not to shabby, either. Sharon Mann has the right voice type, but sounds a bit too energized in the performance.
Colleen Clinkenbeard, though...it seems more of a miscasting than anything else. Her performance would be fine if given to a different, more fitting character. Same goes for Tamara Ryan.
i know this is old but i agree the girl colleen they casted for the english voice in kai really doesn't fit well. i only recently noticed different voice actors in remakes and such. colleen does have a cute voice but it just doesn't work. i think it was when i was rewatching kenichi histories strongest desciple when miu's voice actor changed did i really start taking notice. it was the ova when i noticed and found out the original girl had died in 2011 which sucks because she also voiced soi fon in bleach which makes me wonder who will voice her in the upcoming 1000 year war anime
also to note colleen has voiced several db characters even goku
Sharon mann was energetic because c18 was fighting with trunks on this panel , and trunks made her mad , so thts why she was pumped and energetic to finish him off.

Oscar Flores Colleen Clinkinbeard should be fired from funimation. Her voice just sounds like nails on a chalk board. Her voice for Bulma sucks. Like every character she voiced sounds shit.

If you've seen the Higurashi: When They Cry anime, she voices Miyo Takano there.
Funimation and Ocean's have the exact same voice, but the latter sounded like she was reading off a script.

I actually prefer Enuka. She managed to sound more bitchy and as though she likes being arrogant. It's a kind of calm arrogance. She also has quite a lot of depth. Meredith is a very close second -- she sounds very similar and gets the intonation just right, but she is a little bit more monotonous.

Lukimus Prime Considering we have Nicolas Cage as Superman in the Teen Titans Go movie, now is as good a time as ever to update it.
Shaun N Ince definitely and we also have the live action stars as well. It's cool how Cage is Superman as he once auditioned for the part, and he has a son called Kal-El.

Meredith McCoy still sounds quite young. Then again, she started voicing the character in her early 20s while Miki Ito started in her early 30s, not to mention almost 10 years before Meredith.
So Miki was in her 50s while voicing her in Super while Meredith was in her late 30s/early 40s.
Meredith sounds threatening, but sexy.
Colleen sounds also threatening, but cute.

Does anyone know exactly why Meredith Mccoy didn't make into KAI and the rest of that period? If i'm not mistaken, she's in Tenkaichi 3, the last DB video game I played, as well as in Raging Blast, but didn't return until "Battle of Gods" Movie and Xenoverse onward.
