That is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen! I was worrying something happened to you with all those cave diving. Hopefully you are ok and please make more videos, they are amazing!
Hi, just letting you know that I’m still subscribed and that you’re definitely one of my favorite channels on UA-cam. I truly hope that you post again in the future.
Thanks. I've just gotten busy with family life and house projects for the past few years, but I would like to get back into it and make more videos in the future.
+gvaud73 Good question. I haven't gone diving in a long time because I've been so busy with renovating my house, but things are slowing down now and I'm planning to get back into freediving. In fact, I'm going to Volusia Blue Springs this Saturday for some practice. I'm also planning on making more videos too, but they do take some time and I have a busy schedule with work and family life to juggle.
@@CaveFreediving Also they opened a different entrance for chassahowitzka WMA and closed the old one, so now the way to get there from the new entrance is to head straight onto south road and veer right to stay on south road, then you have to turn right at three bridges road, just before the three bridges there is a sign that says "Attention Scuba Divers" The old road/trail that leads to the boardwalk and buford is right there. They also just fixed the road surface so it's currently not bumpy but it is very, very, very dusty.
It’s dangerous but less dangerous than many other sports like base jumping, luge, alpine skiing, cave scuba diving, bull riding, race car driving, etc. With many sports you’re risking your life for the thrill of the sport, but if you follow standard safety measures the odds are in your favor. People die in every sport and risk is everywhere, so I would rather take some calculated risks and enjoy life than sit at home and never do anything exciting.
Good question, I know it's been a long time since I posted a video, but I'm planning to start making some more soon. I did do some freediving in the Bahamas this past week.
@@blairforce1755 Ginnie is great, they have many good springs to drive, just bring a thick wetsuit because it will be cold. Troy, Blue Hole and Peacock are nearby.
@@blairforce1755 I would recommend the 3mm full with a hood. Or you could get by with a 5mm full and no hood, that's my preference. I have much less motivation to dive in the winter, but with proper warmth, it should be enjoyable. The water temp is around 72 degrees, and the air temp could be in the 50's or 60's. So, you feel warmer in the cold water, but it will suck away your body heat.
One of the first rules of freediving is stay out of caves. I'm wondering if you're still alive. And this place is full of snakes and is not for the inexperienced and it's videos just like this that have ruined these places that are now overrun with idiots
That is not a freediving rule; those who practice the sport make their own rules anyway. I have helped to pioneer cave freediving in Florida; It can be done safely and it's not my fault if people don't listen to my advice. Plus, every sport in the world has some level of risk. If you want to play it safe, then stay home.
@@CaveFreediving Well shit man ,glad to hear that, My previous presumptions were based on the amount of time that you had your last upload against the very nature of your hobbies, although I’m sure you don’t need me telling you how dangerous it is, either way good to you, see you still around , best of luck in the future and I look forward to any further uploads!

CaveFreediving Awesome, take your time! Looking forward to it.
Glad to know you're busy and planning more videos...and still alive ^^'
Awesome, I've been wondering how to get to Buford for a while!
Nice vid man, really enjoy these. Beautiful scenery.
I love your freediving videos! Keep em coming 👍
Because of the new boardwalk, I would update "Easily Accessible?" to 3 out of 5 for a total score of 83%
I agree, it's much better now
Bevan, are you still diving? Love your reviews. Keep em coming.

nice hole :)
Buford spring ... they added a boardwalk through the swamp
Really!?
How far from Ginnie is this?
It's pretty far from ginnie, in the chessahowitska wildlife refuge, which is near the west coast.
