From Not Running to Roadtrip! Will This $1,000 XJ Make it 2,000 Miles?

We are putting the cheap Cherokee to the ultimate test! We have done a lot to this Jeep from a new/used motor to suspension and brakes. Now we will attempt to drive it 1,000 miles to Alabama and 1,000 miles back home to PA!

Thanks for bringing us along on your journey to Alabama Jimmy 🎉👍😁. Ran a 92 for 26 years. Bought a 01 XJ in 2019 with 187k. Sitting in my driveway in Fl. I ran the 01 to Maine. Had dealership in Maine install Camshaft, lifters, Rods,timing chain, tps. Ran the black Billy Goat to North Dakota. Six months later, my son pulled it back to Maine. New windshield installed. Drove her back to Florida 🎉. Yes, long trips in a old car can be a little stressful, but fun👍. Long live the XJ and stay well 👍

I have a 2000 Jeep xj classic , one of the best upgrades I’ve done so far on my stock jeep is put a JEEP CHEROKEE XJ VIPER COIL MOD , check it out and say goodbye coil rail.

What size coupler can i get to replace the lower resonator? someone cut it at night and stole it from my truck and im trying to fine something to make it less louder. I have the 2001 XJ with with the two baby cats on the motor and resonator at bottom, Thank you! always an amazing job im learning with your videos helps a ton!

Thanks God I have been cured of my jeep zj fever . How you may ask , I got sick of being underneath it more than i was driving it ! in hindsight I should have gotten a toyota . anybody want a 1993 Zj with a good transmission and engine and bad everything else let me know . I would never buy another jeep, ever .
