If you look closely you can see Guardian Ratha’s scales falling to the ground as you do, my jaw was on the FLOOR during this scene. This game got so dark so quick, the story is so amazing. R.I.P. Guardian Ratha
I find Zellard to be a rather interesting (albeit unfortunately underdeveloped) character. While he wants a new world, this is not out of a desire for power, or riches, or infamy. But _grief._ The death of Red, an obviously close friend had hit him hard. Unlike Ena, who internalized and blamed herself for his death, Zellard turned that anguish and grief out onto the wider world.
2:35 okay despite being a kid friendly game Guardian Ratha's death was pretty gruesome and brutal but I respect that and I really hoped Guardian Ratha's death was quick
why did this tiny moth baby have giant tentacles attacking and where did they go? What is this thing's actual anatomy, can anyone link a picture or something for me?
The giant worms are one entity that is Oltura, it's sole purpose in this form is to spread the rageraying and feed on Rathalos (and specifically the Razewing). Once it's charged up it transforms into the moth, which is it's true form.
It ain’t the worst monster hunter, there are many worse than what you think is this could be, I guess you like having action and non turn based fights, I on the same hand but also the other, like both, I like having some be fast and quick where attacks are completely random, but regular monster hunter games are actually less difficult at times, where as this game makes you create a team of powerful wyvern and dragons to destroy all that attacks you
@@eventideagentm7223 nono I LOVE this game playing it right now what i mean is that its was hard to watch that scene because the story was a little more cutesy and out of nowhere this happens its was sooo cruel still hurts me but i love the game played the first one until my 3ds died xd and im already almost 50 hours in stories 2
@@jesuslopezmartinez5649 ah, thanks for the clarification, or maybe I just am not good at spotting the details that mean what you have just replied with

Dude... I wasn't expecting such a brutal death for guardian ratha...
I feel so sad for guardian ratha at least he's with red now
This death hit hard. I couldn't stop crying because I loved Guardian Ratha so much.
Also,
1:03 like grandfather like grandchild-
Man I knew this one was darker and more serious than the last but holy hell that got REALLY grim at times
That was surprisingly brutal.
Guardian Ratha went out like a boss, pretty much saved the world.
A heroic sacrifice. Though had it eaten razewing ratha it would probably be more powerful.
I was literally at the edge of my seat during this cutscene

3:09 idk why it took me so long to find this scene on yt but the choir during this section is so god damn phenomenal!
The scene that made me cry for 10 minutes without being able to stop.... 😂
Holy shit. Zellard’s more insane than Cyrus and Lysandre combined to the power of 8
I wonder where he went after the final fight.
At that point Oltura made it personal
Fuckin hate that thing
Awwwww, that's both sad and creepy
Rip ratha and red

Somehow, this scene makes me tear up everytime i watch it.
Zellard was an amazing villain, too bad he got so little screen time.
and for that little time he got in the end his animations and voice acting really sold it

The weird worms probably work like roots feeding a plant
Ya know...for kids!
@Thomas Wrey don't forget that we saw Nergigante kill our grandfather.
@@spacemegalodon5049 maybe that's why my character looks so dead inside,
Bro my guy zellard did not die. Of a 100 feet drop
Damn they choose the worst game to show that really but still amazing
