We used to get those books of different countries when I was a kid. They came with a sheet of stickers and we had to “lick” them to stick them to the pages. I doubt if they still make sticker books like that.
Ohhh i remember those sticker books! Or something similar at least - where you had to lick n stick the stickers. My sister and I wanted the fancy self-adhesive ones 😂 TFW! 💜
Hi, Laura It took many years of failures with my high desert landscape gardening but I now have more successes than failures. Here are a few of my best tips. Ignore any general gardening books because they are automatically written for areas with higher humidity. I've found I have better success planting in the fall because it gives the plant almost a year to establish before it has to deal with killer heat. Any plant that is new to me I plant 3, 1 each in 3 different areas (different soil, light, or watering needs). If I like the plant, the following year I replant any survivors to where they seem happiest, or buy more and plant by my survivor. There is a mail order catalog called High Desert Gardening that is a wonderful resource. Also, plants are as individual as people, and I find there are some I can't make happy no matter what I do. I love your outsized cat in the window. The great majority of my cats have been bigger than average. I'm very much enjoying this glue book and your chat. Nancy
I can’t tell you how many times I have filled a shopping cart at high Desert gardening and then I worry that I will kill everything anyway 😂 they are sorta pricey. My neighbor did buy a bunch of plants from them and after two years, they really look great! I like your idea of three plants in three different areas. I do have three very different areas and some of my plants do really well in one, two, or all three. And I never trust anything that’s on the labels! 😂 when I lived in Georgia, I grew everything, because anything will grow in Georgia just about! These are great tips. I’m going to reread them! TFW! 💜

Doesnt matter! Some folks like small ones some folks like big ones. Composition notebooks are the average and a great one start with! See my first glue book vid where i started with a composition notebook. Its so fun!! TFW! 💜
